Story
My name is COH 112022-159 (Winter). I am a 2 year old female Saint Bernard Mix. I look almost identical to my brother, COH 112022-159 (Beethoven). We were found running the streets together. After holding us on a stray hold, nobody came forward to bring us home. Now we are up for adoption and ready to find our true forever families. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Please find our application at lovejoyfoundation.org when you come to an event please bring that filled out in hand with you. You can find our application at Lovejoyfoundation.org. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.

Story
Oliver lost his human mom to an unfortunate accident recently and came into our care with his "sister" Olivia. They are very bonded and we have promised to keep them together when placing them into their next home. They are both total lovers and get along well with everyone that they meet. They are good with other dogs, but we would rather not place them into a home with cats. They are crate trained, housebroken and pretty chill dogs that just want and deserve the love that they have known. If you would be interested in adopting them both, please contact us.

Story
Olivia and Oliver came to us recently when their human mom had a tragic accident and didn't survive. They are a very sweet and bonded pair of Saint Bernards that have known nothing but love and it shows. We have promised to keep them together going to their next home, so only apply if you are interested in adopting them both. Olivia has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and will have to be on medication to manage the pain for the rest of her life. She still enjoys walks and playing at the dog park. She will lay down when she needs to, but light exercise is good for her. No strenuous hikes, and it would be best if there weren't a lot of stairs for her to navigate as she ages. They are housebroken, LOVE everyone that they meet, and crate trained. She is squirrel reactive, so we'd rather not place them into a home with a cat or other small critters that she may mistake as prey. If you would be interested in adopting them together, please contact us.

Story
Annie is a special dog, looking for a special home. She had a rough start to life, but she hasn't lost her kind personality. She uses her other senses to connect with people and find her way around the world. She needs some time to adjust to new surroundings, but settles in quickly. She would do best in a quiet home with a loving companion who can build her confidence and love her unconditionally.

Story
Wyatt lives up to his name; Brave and Courageous Rescued from an area shelter, Wyatt had come in as a stray.  They suspected that he had been attacked because of the multiple injuries and lacerations on him.  He also had hundreds of foxtails embedded in his fur that took days and finally a medicated bath to clear out.  When we saw the photos sent out by the shelter, we knew that we had to help.  Through it all, Wyatt has been sweet and very tolerant of all the handling he needed, even by strangers. This handsome boy is young (about 6/8 months old) and was in desperate need of some extra TLC and medical care.  We are happy to report that he is healthy and healing well.   He is meeting lots of new friends, human and dog, and seeks out affection and play.  He loves toys, which he likes to carry, toss and de-stuff himself.  He is comfortable on the soft couch and dog-bed but he also likes hanging out in the backyard.  He is currently getting some basic training which includes leash walking.  He appears to be house trained but, as with any puppy, his new home will need to supervise and reward where he needs to do his business.  Wyatt is gaining the confidence, training and experience a youngster needs.  We anticipate that he will be a large adult as he is still growing.    He is not going to be the dog to go on long walks or hikes but he will enjoy playtime.   If you are looking for  a very sweet, affectionate boy who is looking to love and be loved, then Wyatt is your guy.

Story
Dakota Jones is a silly and sweet gentle giant who absolutely loves affection and being social! She is playful and loves humans of all ages. According to her foster, her favorite things include belly rubs, tennis balls, and treats. She is house trained, good on leash, and can be safely left home alone. Dakota will need to be the only animal in the home as she can sometimes be reactive to other dogs on leash and can be a strong puller when she sees cats, but her goofy ways will be all you need! She is very playful, likes to play fetch and sometimes gets zoomies and likes to chase you around the home. She plays hide and seek with her foster and will even chase lights similar to a cat playing with a laser pointer. Inquire about this funny senior lady today! Dakota's current foster says , "Dakota is the SWEETEST most LOVING girl! She loves being with her human, she loves belly rubs, she does very well at home by herself and is completely house trained. She can hold it for 8-10 hours. She LOVES curling up with her human, chewing on toys, wagging her tail, and taking walks. She is extremely well behaved on the leash and has been very gentle with me. She is a good eater, uses the restroom regularly, and is not a picky eater. Dakota truly is a beautiful and loving dog. She would make someone a magnificent companion and pet. She should probably be the only doggy in the household. Please consider her. She truly is one of a kind. "
