Story
Cooper, Saint Bernard/Lab/Boxer, 9 months, 60 lbs. Housebroken. Cooper is a friendly, happy, high energy, pup. He has had some leash training and basic obedience but needs more work as he gets distracted easily because of his young age. He loves to ride, is crate trained and is good with most dogs. We are looking for a home with someone home most of the time and possibly another younger dog for companionship. His owners decided they don’t have the time to give him what he needs and want him to have an active home with someone around most of the time to continue his training. Courtesy listing. Story
From her amazing foster: "Everyone Leilani meets falls in love with her. As confirmed by every one that has been blessed by her company, she is very well-mannered and calm. Every day we go to the park, and while I finish up my emails for the day, she loves to "people watch. Her patience is incredible. She has the heart of a Great Pyrenees but the laziness of a St. Bernard haha!!Needless to say she loves leisurely walks, children, pets, and snuggling with her stuffed monkey. Her gentleness is impressive for a puppy her age, but she is always down for a game of fetch. She is great in the kennel and on the leash, but we are still working on using stairs efficiently." Meet the "L" pups! These absolutely adorable, fluffy babies arrived at our rescue partner as an owner surrender after momma got pregnant. Mom is a Great Pyrenees mix, and they definitely appear to be mixed with Saint Bernard! Please note that we cannot guarantee breed and CANNOT GUARANTEE ADULT WEIGHT. These puppies could be anywhere from 60 to 120+ pounds at maturity! We STRONGLY recommend doing breed research before considering adopting one of these pups. Great Pyrenees are an independent and highly intelligent livestock guardian breed. They do best in a home with a fenced in backyard and will bark to alert at a leaf blowing in the wind two blocks away. They are incredible dogs, but it is very important to make sure you understand the breed prior to adopting. ADOPTION FEE: $500 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.
