Story
Evie is such an incredible girl! We do believe there is some large breed in her, like a St. Bernard, but are not sure. She would love to be a lap dog for her life, though. She is gentle and sweet and enjoys running around outside and playing with her foster family or the other dogs. She is bigger, but her heart matches her body, and she is generous and loving and snuggly. She enjoys going to baseball games and wrestling with her sister, Bella. Her eyes are incredible and will tell you her every emotion. All of the best attributes of her random breeds. She is going to be an incredible family member!

Story
Bella is the confident one in the litter, and has led the charge to come to Colorado. She is going to be larger, though we are not positive about the St. Bernard, but either way, she is going to be a lap dog for life. She is fun and happy and confident, and loves to frolic outside and play with toys. She loves her foster family and going to baseball games and being loved in a home. Like her sister, her heart matches her size, and she is a loving, beautfiul soul. She is going to be an incredible dog who minds and will love everything about being a part of a pack. Don't miss out on this sweet girl!

Story
Attention all St Bernard lovers! Mr. Bill Walton has entered the chat! He is EVERYTHING and more. Billy man is a Distemper survivor which already makes him elite. However, because Distemper attacks the nervous system, he has some life lasting effects. He has a little bit of a head twitch, loves to drink water and he sometimes walks like he just got off a rollercoaster. But honestly it just adds to his goofy and sweet character and we wouldn't want him any other way. He wants nothing more than to say hi to everyone and get lots of pets. He has the best smile in the whole land and will melt your heart upon meeting his sweet soul.  He currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely adores them! He will play with his toys and chase his foster siblings until he decides it’s time to nap in the shade. Bill came from Florida and FOJR took one look at him and made sure he was coming to Colorado to live his life in the mountains. Bill needs a home with a yard for him to roam and somewhere with minimal stairs. He would love to be with another dog to play with and keep him energized, but could also be an only dog. He is truly the best, most mild mannered guy with the sweetest face and Yoda ears. Everyone needs a Bill in their lives. ##2073306##

Story
Tara is truly PRECIOUS and so lovable! This soft, cuddly girl has so much love to give and is happiest when she’s snuggled up next to you (or on top of you!). Despite her size, she is very gentle and calm. She’s a relatively low-energy girl, so a couple of short walks a day is all she needs to be happy and tired. She loves all people and dogs and would be great with kids.  Tara is a very silly, playful girl. Her favorite things are snuggling on the couch, playing tug with a rope toy, and solving puzzle toys!  Tara is fully kennel trained and house trained. Her foster family is helping her learn recall, sit, down, focus, wait, leave it, drop it and leash manners! She is food and affection motivated - and she wants to make her people happy!  ##2077662##

Story
Hi there!  Mortimer here, checking in after arriving in Colorado! Im between 1 and 2 years old (no one ever told me my real birthday so the nice doctor at the vet's office took a guess) and the rescue people asked me to tell you a little bit about myself. I love tug of war!  I figured i would start with that since its really important that my new home like to play that with me.  I also like to play with other dogs, but can get a little scared if they are super loud and in my face at first.  I am "crate-trained" whatever that means, and enjoy these things called "leash walks" where i get to go out and smell and see new things.  My foster parents say that i have decent leash "manners". I've seen a cat a few times, and wasn't overly interested in it, but i have never lived with one, so I don't know how i would feel about that. I ended up in Colorado after someone dumped me in a very rural part of new Mexico.  A nice lady there found me and gave me food and water and shelter which was very nice, but she couldn't keep me so she found some nice people in Colorado to help me find a new forever home!  If i sound like the kind of dog you would like to hang out with fill out the application below and be sure to mention my name! Story
Dixie and Latigo come to us after their human dad passed and Dixie started escaping the yard on a regular basis. Their human mom recognized that she could not keep them safe and asked us to help. We of course said YES! Things they will need in their new home – a yard with a 6 foot fence. Normally we don’t require fences, but for these two a 6 foot fence is an absolute MUST. They will still try to get over it, but won’t be able to. They are still learning the finer points of being inside dogs, but are doing really well so far! Dixie is definitely the leader with these two – she’s first to try new things and Latigo will follow her. They are also learning about leash manners – and so far are doing really well!
