Story
Wizard is a 1½-year-old Saint Bernard with a big body, big energy, and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is still very much a puppy at heart and is looking for a patient adopter who can help him learn the skills he missed early in life. Wizard is crate trained and house trained, but he’s still working on leash manners and impulse control. He can be mouthy when excited, though this is playful behavior — not aggression. With consistency, structure, and positive training, Wizard has tremendous potential to grow into a wonderful companion. He enjoys other dogs and generally does well with them, especially female dogs who can match his playful style. Because of his size and enthusiasm, Wizard would do best in a home with teens 16+ and adults who can safely manage a large, energetic dog. Wizard is searching for a home willing to invest time, patience, and training into helping him become the best version of himself. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate giant who truly wants to connect with his people. If you’re ready to guide a young dog who just needs direction, Wizard may be your perfect match!

Story
Bonded pair Gus & Maggie come to after Maggie tore her CCL and their previous owner was unable to provide the level of care that she needed. Maggie is almost completely recovered from her TPLO surgery and these two are ready for their happy ever after! Gus can be protective of Maggie, so we recommend a home with no other dogs in it, but they get along just fine with their foster kitty brother! A home with few stairs and a fenced yard would be best for these two. Favorite activities include sunbathing, snowbathing, napping, watching squirrels, and getting belly rubs - in other words, the good life! Story
Babs is an absolute sweetheart at 18 months young. She came in after her owner decided her energy no longer matched his own. She is a pretty active girl that needs someone to continue to work on training with her. Her current foster mama says she is very sweet little tornado 🌪 💜. She weighs in around 110 lbs and still needs to be spayed and have her gastropexy before she is ready to be adopted out. However, she is available to meet. She does have some resource guarding we are working through when it comes to food, and she is still learning how to be polite on a leash.

Story
Hi there!  Mortimer here, checking in after arriving in Colorado! Im between 1 and 2 years old (no one ever told me my real birthday so the nice doctor at the vet's office took a guess) and the rescue people asked me to tell you a little bit about myself. I love tug of war!  I figured i would start with that since its really important that my new home like to play that with me.  I also like to play with other dogs, but can get a little scared if they are super loud and in my face at first.  I am "crate-trained" whatever that means, and enjoy these things called "leash walks" where i get to go out and smell and see new things.  My foster parents say that i have decent leash "manners". I've seen a cat a few times, and wasn't overly interested in it, but i have never lived with one, so I don't know how i would feel about that. I ended up in Colorado after someone dumped me in a very rural part of new Mexico.  A nice lady there found me and gave me food and water and shelter which was very nice, but she couldn't keep me so she found some nice people in Colorado to help me find a new forever home!  If i sound like the kind of dog you would like to hang out with fill out the application below and be sure to mention my name! Story
Shelby is a beautiful 7–8-year-old Saint Bernard weighing about 110 pounds, with a heart just as big as her paws. She’s a joyful, affectionate girl who brings warmth, personality, and a gentle presence into every room. Shelby thrives on connection. One of her sweetest and most effective habits is sitting right in front of you and gazing into your eyes until you give her the attention she’s hoping for—and trust us, you’ll give in every time. She loves being near her people, soaking up affection, and simply being part of whatever is going on. She has a fun, spirited side but also appreciates the quieter moments in life. Settling her head into your lap for long sessions of attention is her favorite activity. Shelby is known for savoring her treats—taking her time to enjoy every bite. And in true Shelby fashion, she likes to be prepared, she’ll often carry three pieces of kibble (always three!) to her favorite spot and keep them there, just in case. It’s one of her many charming little routines that will make you smile every day. Shelby is also a Zoom meeting star! She quietly likes to make a quick appearance and have everyone comment on how pretty she is. Ego satisfied, Shelby returns to her favorite resting spot next to you. Shelby does well with male dogs and may enjoy a compatible canine companion. However, she is not a good fit for homes with cats. Most of all, Shelby is a loyal, loving companion who wants to be close to her people. She has so much love to give. She is fully house trained and is great with free roam. Shelby is up to date on all vaccinations. All she needs is a family looking for love and a fenced yard. Adoption application: https://cosaintrescue.org/adopt/adoption-form/
