Story
Birthdate:  10/06/2025Breed: One of a kindWeight: Still growing!Meet the Olympic Pups: Luge, Bobsled, Slalom & Curling! Ready to bring home gold-medal level cuteness? These four superstar puppies are taking the competition for “Most Adorable” very seriously — and they’re all winners!Full of puppy energy, curiosity, and affection, this team has the perfect balance of playful fun and sweet snuggles. They love romping together, chasing toys, and showing off their moves — but they’re just as happy to pause the action for belly rubs and attention. No toy drama here — they share beautifully and play like true teammates. Bobsled – Strong, social, and happiest with the whole team together. This pup loves group play and brings great energy to every adventure. Curling – The thoughtful sweetheart of the bunch. A little softer and happy to “curl” up with you after playtime for some well-earned cuddles. Slalom – Agile and playful, weaving in and out of the action with enthusiasm and charm. A fun-loving pup who keeps things exciting! Luge – Fast, fearless, and always ready to zoom! This pup is quick on her paws and first to dive into the fun. These pups are still learning the basics, which means they’re ready to be coached by loving families who will help them grow into champion companions. With their friendly personalities, playful spirits, and affectionate nature, each one is ready to win your heart. No matter who you choose, you’re bringing home a gold-medal best friend. Come meet the team and find your perfect match!Looking for puppy perfection? These four sweet, beautiful, and endlessly entertaining pups might just be everything you’ve been dreaming of. They are the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and well-balanced — truly a little dream team!In their playtime together, they were absolutely amazing. They romped, tumbled, and shared toys beautifully with zero issues over people or possessions. No drama — just happy, healthy puppy play. They love their toys and they’re just as happy pausing the fun to check in for cuddles and affection. They are comfortable being handled all over — wiggly, yes, but wonderfully social and trusting. In their kennel space, they’re classic adorable puppies: bouncy, excited, and ready to greet you with full-body wiggles. Each pup has their own sparkle.  Bobsled & Curling bring and the same beautiful balance of playfulness and affection — happy to wrestle one moment and snuggle the next. They’re still young and haven’t started learning basic commands yet, which means they’re blank slates ready for positive training and bonding with their forever families. If you’re looking for a puppy who is social, loving, playful, and simply a joy to be around, you truly can’t go wrong with any of these four. Come meet them — but be warned, you might fall in love more than once!   The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://www.pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire . If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.February 20, 2026, 12:49 am

Story
All hail Cleopatra 👑🐾 This 8-week-old (very likely, strongly leaning toward it 😉) St. Bernard mix is already a sturdy 10 pounds of puppy perfection. With her striking black and white coat and confident little strut, Cleopatra absolutely lives up to her royal name. She’s got the presence, the poise… and then the zoomies kick in. Cleopatra is sweet, fun-loving, and full of that big puppy energy. She loves to play, explore, and soak up all the attention she can get — because obviously, queens deserve admiration. Beneath her playful spirit is a total cuddle bug who’s more than happy to curl up and accept her royal snuggles. If she’s anything like her estimated breed, you can expect a big, loyal best friend with an even bigger heart as she grows. Cleopatra is scheduled to debut this Saturday 2/21 at the Adopt Joy event at the PetSmart in Newburgh. If you’re ready to welcome this little queen (who may grow into a very majestic lady) into your home, head over to happylifeanimalrescue.org and register for adoption. That’s your first step toward giving Cleopatra the happy life she was clearly born to rule. 👑🤍
