Hi there! My name is Billy Bob, and I’m a 4 year old, 75 pound handsome St. Bernard mix with a heart as big as my paws! I’m a gentle, sweet soul who believes life is best when it’s calm, peaceful, and filled with kindness. I have a very easygoing vibe, and I’m just happy to be around good people who make me feel safe and loved. I’m friendly, affectionate, and pretty simple. I don’t need much to make me happy—just a cozy place to rest, some gentle attention, and someone that doesn’t mind giving a good back scratch once a day. I may not be the loudest dog in the room, but I have a quiet sweetness that speaks volumes. I’m the kind of guy who will look at you with my soulful eyes and remind you that sometimes the best things in life are the simplest ones. All I really want is a family who will appreciate my gentle nature and give me a peaceful place to belong. I have so much love to give, and I’m ready to share it with someone special. If you’re looking for a good soul, a calm companion, and a whole lot of sweetness, I might just be your guy. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources.
