Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, January 10. We are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants January 5-11.*
Meet Paisley! She is a confident, athletic, and endlessly entertaining girl who thrives in an active, engaged home. She brings enthusiasm to everything she does—whether that’s wrestling with a dog friend, learning a new skill, or making her people laugh. Paisley would love a playful, confident male dog sibling who enjoys rough-and-tumble play and won’t mind her enthusiastic invitations (face and leg nibbles included). She adores kids, but because she can get mouthy when excited and doesn’t always realize her own strength, a home with older, dog-savvy children would be best.
True to her breed, Paisley loves using her nose, lives for a good game of tug, and is happiest when she has appropriate outlets for her energy. She would be a great candidate for activities like Weight Pull, Spring Pole, or other structured dog sports. At home, she enjoys chewing bones, sunbathing, and cuddling with her people. Paisley is smart, driven, and has been working closely with a trainer and her foster family. She has made great progress on leash and now has a strong training foundation. She does experience leash frustration around other dogs, which can show up as barking or lunging, but she responds well to redirection and structured walks. With continued reinforcement of the tools she already knows, she can keep building on this success in her adoptive home.
Like many young dogs, Paisley can be vocal when she feels left out and may test boundaries, but she thrives with clear expectations and engagement. She is fully kennel trained, potty trained, affectionate, goofy, and guaranteed to keep you smiling—even on her mischievous days.
Paisley LOVES:
• Tug games
• Wrestling and chase with other dogs
• Sniffy walks
• Antlers and marrow bones
• Cuddling
• Rotisserie chicken, cheese, and sardines
• Sunbathing and snoring
Paisley is continuing to work on:
• Basic obedience
• Leash frustration around other dogs (with a solid foundation and tools already in place)
• Barrier frustration (vocalizing when dogs pass her crate)

Paisley is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $100 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Paisley is also tested with other dogs, children, and is potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
