Meet Tiger, an energetic 8-month-old Staffy mix pup with a zest for life! Rescued along with his brother when they were just 7 weeks old, Tiger was found as a stray before being brought to the shelter. Tiger is great with other dogs and thrives in a playful environment. He loves to play hard and has had some basic training, making him a fun and active companion. However, he’s not a fan of cats and would do best in a home without them. Tiger would be the perfect addition to a family with another active and playful dog or an active household that can keep up with his boundless energy. If you’re looking for a spirited and affectionate pup to join your family, Tiger might just be your new best friend!

Story
This is Max. He needs a new home and I am trying to keep him out of the shelter. He turned 2 in February…57 lbs at last visit…part bull terrier, house trained, loves to cuddle and his arch nemesis’ are rabbits and cats. He also loves car rides and being in the midst of all the action. He could benefit with another young dog to play with but is also content cuddling with his owner(s). He has not been around young kids but loves to cuddle with my teenager. He discovered squeaky toys when he was with us, and loves discovering the squeaker each and every time. He enjoys walks but needs more training to not try to chase rabbits and cats he sees on the walk. He is a very lovable dog who loves to be part of the family (as long as that family does not include a cat). Please consider adopting this cuddle bug of a dog! You will fall in love with this dog the minute you meet him! Not sure, set up a meeting anyway and then decide. (The adoption fee will be donated to Denver Dumb Friends League)

Story
Luca is about a year old. We adopted her from Lifeline Puppy Rescue when she was about 6 months old. She is the sweetest dog to my husband and I. She loves to cuddle on the couch, she gives kisses when you pet her, lets us pick her up and listens very well. She gets along great with our other dog and all of our grown kids’ dogs. She however is scared of kids and certain people, not all people. She goes away from them to her bed and growls. She has never bitten anyone but she does growl at some of our smaller grandkids and that’s why we are rehoming her. It absolutely breaks my heart to have to do this because I love her and she is just the sweetest thing. She follows me around the house, lays in the kitchen when I cook and lays on my lap on the couch. She’s housebroken, loves raised dog beds, toys and treats and to go on walks. She is spoiled! If you are a couple or single without little kids and are kind and loving and have space in your heart for Luca, she’ll love you.

Story
Maui is a very affectionate and loving dog. She always wants to be in your space and watching everything you do. She is great with kids. She will try to lick your face which we’ve always worked on but she is so loving, she can’t help it sometimes. We never had cats. I’m not sure how she would interact with them but she has never chased neighbors cats on walks. Overall, she is energetic and friendly. Unfortunately, we are unable to bring her with us for our move.
