Maggie was found abondoned in a shopping cart at Publix as a puppy. Her caring and current foster family found her and immediately brought her home to safety. With no microchip or owner to be found, they decided to take in Maggie and teach her house manners and what it feels like to be loved. Maggie has been pampered and is now ready for her forever home. She is very people friendly (especially kids), dog friendly and cat friendly. She is spayed, fully vetted, and would very much love a large yard and sibling(s) to play with. She is very athletic and has lots of energy for fetch and play time. She also has a cuddly side, and is very affectionate. Apply online at Dirt Road Doggies Rescue!  ##2653744##

Story
I acquired Donna 13 years ago, and she's now 15 years old. From the moment she came into my life, she has been nothing short of a superhero. One night, she saved me from a house fire that could have taken my life while I slept. Her bravery and loyalty are unmatched. Donna has hip dysplasia, which means she has some mobility challenges. She also needs to wear diapers because she can’t control her bladder and tummy anymore. Despite these challenges, she continues to bring joy and love into my life. I am looking for a new home for her—someone who can afford her medical needs and will provide her with a loving and comfortable environment for the remainder of her life. It's important to me that her new owner is patient and understanding, willing to give her the love and care she deserves. I also hope to find someone who will allow me to check on her. Donna is a gentle soul, and I would describe her as brave, loving, and resilient. She has been my companion through thick and thin.
