Bella is a 5 and a half year old staffie mix. She is an incredibly sweet and loving girl. Bella loves to have a dog friend to run around and play with! She likes rough housing with her doggy friends! She is good with cats when supervised, she tries to play with them and doesn't understand her own size. Bella is house trained. She does fine in a crate but would rather not be in it. She is a cuddle monster and wants to be right next to you all of the time. She loves to sleep in bed with you or curl up on the couch. She enjoys hikes and swimming in muddy lake water, and kayaking. She doesn't like to go out in the rain and will hold her bladder when it is wet outside. She loves treats, including fresh veggies and fruits (she loves strawberries and carrots) and any toy filled with treats are her favorite. She will overeat if given the opportunity to. She also loves rope toys and tug of war. She will ask you to hold her toys so she can chew on them because she's a little silly. She loves to destroy toys except for her Lambi toy, which she loves to cuddle with. She does enjoy to chase squirrels out in the yard and tries to nose her way under the fence. She is good about coming back when called. She loves to be pet and talk to you. Marissa is a three-year-old, 50-pound staffie terrier mix that is boarding with a rescue partner in S GA. She was initially with another rescue, but she and one of our dogs there, who is very dog-reactive, struck up a friendship, so we asked if we could take her so he would have a buddy. She has been there for a year now, receiving rave reviews and being good with everything. It’s not fair to hold her back longer. We wish for the pair to be adopted together, as they are both well-behaved and good dogs. If not, we hope Marissa can find a home for them.
