Story
I'm praying for a hail Mary  Digging in my heals to save this one. Her family relocated back to overseas and abandoned her at the groomer.  Affectively signing her death warrant because at the time it was believed she was 16 years old meaning little chance for adoption.  Too many free puppies for anyone to choose her. Coco has been to the vet for a health screening and she did great.  A slim 54 lbs Senior blood workup shows her to be in great health.  She needs a dental cleaning and to have 1 tooth pulled.  However the vet said based on her teeth it's believed she is 7 to 10 years old!     Coco is currently with her foster mom Kathy who was the emergency contact at the groomer where Coco was abandoned.   Coco traveled here from Ireland last October.   She grew up in Ireland with dogs and a cat.  Her foster mom has not seen her with other dogs and listed her as dog selective to be cautious.  So probably best that she be the only dog.  She's happy when meeting new people.  Her dream is to find her own human companion who wouldn't mind cuddling up with a total love bug and would love to be your lap warmer.  Coco is super eager to please.  Very smart!  She knows her basic commands and some fun tricks.  She's very polite while walking on a leash. She loves to go for walks but doesn't consider herself to be high energy.   Although, she is a squeaky toy connoisseur and could keep up with a puppy in this field. ##2607651##

Story
Meet Lanny — the brave boy with a soft heart and a story that shows just how much love can change a life. 💛Lanny is a year-old Terrier mix that was found lying in the grass skinny, hungry, and terrified of humans. Gaining his trust took time, patience, and a lot of treats — and even then, getting him to safety meant gentle coaxing because he would run whenever he got scared.Slow but sure, Lanny decided that maybe not all humans are bad… and that’s when everything changed.Today, he’s opened up into a playful, energetic, sweet pup who LOVES to run and has done well playing with other dogs. His goofy side comes out more every day.Loud noises still worry him, and sudden movements can make him cower — he’s still learning that the world is safe. He’ll need someone who can give him stability, structure, and continued training. The rescue has already helped him learn to trust, and he’s ready for someone patient and loving to keep building on that progress.Because of his past, Lanny should be fed separately from other dogs — but once mealtime is over, he’s all wiggles again.Lanny has come such a long way, and he’s ready for a home that will appreciate his gentle soul, celebrate his courage, and show him what it feels like to be truly loved.Name: LannyBreed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 1 year  (estimated)Weight: 46.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Good with Dogs: Good with Cats: Adoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:   New EnglandIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Peppa is about 5 years old, she is super sweet and loving when she gets to know you. She likes to stay inside and sleep most of the time but loves her walks and playtime as well. She can be slowly acquainted with new dogs inside. She is pretty tough outside so having control and awareness is important, she will walk but can be reactive. She listens mostly to single words, (stay, bed, sit, go , wait, leave it, etc) she has a smaller bladder which makes her needing to go out more frequent but as long as she taken out she is house trained. Im currently about to relocate and understand that I may not be able to bring her, so I would prefer the next best thing for her. It hurts to leave her behind but my selfishness aside I want to give her the world and whats best.

Story
*Name: Heather*Age: 5 years old *Current Weight: 54 pounds*Rescued from: Massachusetts Neglect Case*Adoption fee: $550 (includes $50 refundable positive training commitment deposit)*Health: Up to date on vaccines Heather Locklear was named by her previous shelter in Georgia. We think the name suits her as she is definitely a timeless beauty, and we loved Amanda from Melrose Place. ICONIC!  Heather was adopted for a year by someone who did not take the best care of her. She was not given heartworm preventatives despite being free of the disease, and was surrended to local animal control in Massachusetts after her previous owner moved to the area. She was sadly positive for the disease. She has had an angel medical foster since October 2024, who has helped get her through her heartworm treatment. Heather's fight to get healthy has been nothing short of miraculous; she such a warrior! She is now heartworm free, has had a clear echocardiogram, and it's high time for her to have her forever home! Heather is potty & crate trained, good in the car, food motivated, respectful of the home when uncrated (though will counter surf if you leave things out!), and she loves to love you. Cuddling is her favorite. She comes with 6 private training sessions with a Bark n' Roll certified trainer to get her adopter up to speed on her extensive skills.  Heather was fostered with a frenchie, who was calm and respectful, and they did well. We have not been able to successfully co-mingle her off leash with other pets without her getting overstimulated so we do recommend that she be the main solo character pet-wise in her home.  If you would like to meet Heather please complete an application on our site. We will then be setting up meet & greets. She is being fostered North of Boston.  Heather is available for Meet and Greets, and our foster to adopt program. Please let us know if you would like to meet her by emailing us at rescue@bark-n-roll.com. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.RNR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email. ##2278845##
