Story
Name: Misty Age: ~2 years (estimated because perfection has no timeline) Weight: Compact cloud of love Status: Angel baby, professional sweetheart, emotionally healing presence Misty did not walk into this world — she floated down gently and immediately made everyone feel calmer. This girl has the softest eyes, the quietest little expressions, and a vibe that says “it’s okay, I’ll sit with you while you process life.” She’s affectionate without being demanding, gentle without being shy, and absolutely convinced that dog beds are sacred spaces meant for deep thoughts and deeper naps. Misty’s hobbies include: Sitting politely like the well-mannered queen she is Making direct eye contact that somehow fixes your nervous system Curling up like a tiny loaf and staying there peacefully Being the emotional support animal you didn’t know you needed Existing beautifully She’s the type of dog who doesn’t need to be loud or wild to steal your heart — she just quietly does it while looking at you with love and trust. She would thrive in a home that appreciates softness, snuggles, and a dog who truly just wants to be with her person.   If you’re searching for: A calm, affectionate best friend A dog who brings peace into a room An angel disguised as a house hippo A soulmate in dog form Misty is waiting. Story
Willow is a very precious little bully girl. She has a fun playful personality who enjoys life to the fullest.   Willow was found with her littermates on the streets when they were only eight weeks old. We attempted to locate the owners to no avail. So the next step is to place her in a loving home who appreciates this breed. She is crate trained. We're working on the potty training. So before you put in an application for a Puppy, please consider the steps involved to get a puppy fully trained. Willow has been fully vetted: Spayed, has a microchip, all core vaccines, including a Bordetella to prevent kennel, cough. Her coat is healthy and soft. She is currently eating.Taste of the Wild dog food.   She is very well socialize and with the proper training will make the most excellent pet. Her adoption fee is only $450 and that includes the cost of transportation to New England from Arkansas.  ##2564920##

Story
Pebbles is a wonderful girl, 4 years old. She is 55 lbs. She has lived with kids and small dogs but she was too high energy for the smaller dogs to play with her. A dog closer to her size to play might be a good fit. She has not lived with cats and she has too much energy for them anyway. She will follow you around, loves people and loves to lay on the couch and sleep with you. She loves kids but can knock them down in her excitement. Due to her energy, she needs a fenced in yard and someone that is home often to let her out and spend time with her. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Select cats can be fostered instead! Apply on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter may not be what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat. Most often, in a home, they thrive!Kitten Policy: Kittens must be able to socialize with other young cats or dogs as playmates, as it is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we do not place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet all cats or kittens available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
