Story
Animal Profile: Nellie is an 18-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix that weighs 45 lbs. She is a sweet, energetic pup who’s come a long way in a short time. She spent much of her early life isolated in a bathroom, often for days at a time. Her former owner recognized they couldn’t care for her, so she was surrendered to a friend of the rescue. Despite her rough start and limited socialization, Nellie is incredibly loving. She’s got plenty of energy for runs or hikes but is just as happy lounging on the couch soaking up belly rubs. She’s currently in a foster home with two large male bully breeds and has done well living with other dogs. Nellie would thrive in a home with experience handling power breeds and someone committed to continuing her training. She’s friendly but doesn’t always recognize her strength, so a home without young kids is best. Adoption Fee Info: Adoption fee is $575 and includes current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test when applicable. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Nellie found herself in need of rescue when her owner would disappear for days at a time without providing adequate arangments for her care. She was surrendered to a friend of the rescue, and after evaluating her are helping her find the home she deserves.October 14, 2025, 12:32 am

Story
Meet Buddy, the charismatic rescue pitbull who has captured the hearts of everyone he meets. This fun-loving canine companion is a true embodiment of joy, with a passion for cuddles, kisses, and hugs that is simply infectious. Despite a previous setback due to ACL surgery, Buddy's enthusiasm for life remains undiminished, although he now enjoys the great outdoors at a slightly gentler pace. Buddy is not just a pet; he's a family member. He's kennel trained, making him not only adorable but also well-behaved. While he is incredibly friendly with other dogs, a meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure a smooth introduction. Unfortunately, Buddy isn't a fan of feline friends, so a cat-free environment would be ideal. In addition to his social prowess, Buddy is house trained, making him the perfect companion for any home. His playful spirit shines through when he's engaged in a game of fetch or with a rope toy - his tail wagging with unmatched enthusiasm. But perhaps Buddy's favorite pastime is basking in the sun, a simple pleasure that brings him immense contentment. With his resilience, affectionate nature, and zest for life, Buddy is more than a pet; he's a source of endless love and happiness, waiting to bring sunshine into the lives of his forever family.

Story
Available in TX only! Meet Max Cooper, a captivating white pup with soulful eyes that speak volumes despite his deafness. While he can't hear, he's mastered the art of being a joyful canine companion. Max exudes energy and affection, enjoying walks and playtime, especially his favorite pastime: fetch. Despite his disability, he embraces life with enthusiasm, embodying resilience and love. Max thrives on human interaction, craving a caring companion to share adventures with. He's an adventurous spirit who adores riding in cars and exploring new places. Yet, Max is also a devoted cuddler, content to keep you company on the couch, his gentle nature shining through in every snuggle session. His harmonious interactions extend to both humans and fellow furry friends, often seen frolicking with playful puppies. Max is a testament to the indomitable spirit of rescue dogs, proving that love knows no bounds, and every pup deserves a chance to find their forever home. We do recommend a home without young children due to his special needs. Max has not been cat tested, but we know he loves dogs! He is microchipped, fully vaccinated, & neutered. He is being fostered in Seguin, TX and is ready for his new home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Hello Spring Branch Rescue friends! Meet Nylah. She is a fun-sized bundle of curiosity and joy! At just around a year old and 35 lbs, she’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a playful, loving, and treat-motivated sidekick. She adores kids and loves playing with her humans, whether it’s a game of fetch or a fun backyard adventure. This adorable girl is still learning the ropes with leash manners—she’s got enthusiasm for walks but pulls with excitement! She’s making great progress with kennel training and is eager to please. She hasn’t had much exposure to other dogs or cats yet, so slow introductions would be best as she learns more about her furry peers. One of her favorite things? Car rides! She's always ready to hop in and enjoy the journey. Nylah would thrive in an active home where she gets lots of playtime, continued training, and affection. She's full of potential and just needs a loving family to help her shine! Not in Texas? No problem. We offer transport to the Pacific Northwest & East Coast.
