Story
Oh, this girl! Kya is a hidden gem! She is smart, loving, great on a leash, and loves to play. She will spend every minute in your lap if she can. Born in 2017, she has had all the puppies, and is ready to be the star of the show. She's looking for a home where she can be your one and only- meaning no other animals (including dogs) and no children. While she is very loving toward people she knows, she does not do well with strangers and needs a home that does not receive many visitors. Kya is looking for an owner that is familiar with the challenges of her breed. She needs a securely fenced yard to play in. Her favorite game is tug, she likes to frolic in her play yard and enjoys her walks. Kya is a huge foodie! The quickest way to her heart is through her stomach. She is also very smart and picks up on training quickly. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) November 10, 2025, 7:38 pm

Story
Meet Buddy, the charismatic rescue pitbull who has captured the hearts of everyone he meets. This fun-loving canine companion is a true embodiment of joy, with a passion for cuddles, kisses, and hugs that is simply infectious. Despite a previous setback due to ACL surgery, Buddy's enthusiasm for life remains undiminished, although he now enjoys the great outdoors at a slightly gentler pace. Buddy is not just a pet; he's a family member. He's kennel trained, making him not only adorable but also well-behaved. While he is incredibly friendly with other dogs, a meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure a smooth introduction. Unfortunately, Buddy isn't a fan of feline friends, so a cat-free environment would be ideal. In addition to his social prowess, Buddy is house trained, making him the perfect companion for any home. His playful spirit shines through when he's engaged in a game of fetch or with a rope toy - his tail wagging with unmatched enthusiasm. But perhaps Buddy's favorite pastime is basking in the sun, a simple pleasure that brings him immense contentment. With his resilience, affectionate nature, and zest for life, Buddy is more than a pet; he's a source of endless love and happiness, waiting to bring sunshine into the lives of his forever family.

Story
Available in TX only! Meet Max Cooper, a captivating white pup with soulful eyes that speak volumes despite his deafness. While he can't hear, he's mastered the art of being a joyful canine companion. Max exudes energy and affection, enjoying walks and playtime, especially his favorite pastime: fetch. Despite his disability, he embraces life with enthusiasm, embodying resilience and love. Max thrives on human interaction, craving a caring companion to share adventures with. He's an adventurous spirit who adores riding in cars and exploring new places. Yet, Max is also a devoted cuddler, content to keep you company on the couch, his gentle nature shining through in every snuggle session. His harmonious interactions extend to both humans and fellow furry friends, often seen frolicking with playful puppies. Max is a testament to the indomitable spirit of rescue dogs, proving that love knows no bounds, and every pup deserves a chance to find their forever home. We do recommend a home without young children due to his special needs. Max has not been cat tested, but we know he loves dogs! He is microchipped, fully vaccinated, & neutered. He is being fostered in Seguin, TX and is ready for his new home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
You just simply HAVE to meet Momo! A small boy who tips the scales at just under 30 pounds. His tiny body was built for speed— he is an absolute rockstar at fetch, always bringing it back too! He enjoys all the great things in life, companionship, sunbathing, affection, and of course a good ole nap. Momo is a playful, goofy Bull Terrier mix—or at least that’s our best guess! What we do know for sure is that he’s 100% joy and will bring endless smiles to your home. Watch him in action right here! https://youtu.be/leBGp3y_5MA?si=gJsP4rie60eDkyES Momo loves to toss his toys in the air and catch them, proving he’s an expert in self-entertainment. But don’t let his playful energy fool you—once he’s had his fun, he’s all about lounging on the floor and hanging out with his people, soaking up the family vibes. Currently living with a family, Momo would thrive in a home with older kids who can handle his playful side. Momo is living with a pack full of many different dogs varying in age and size. Momo makes his fosters home add up to 4 doggos! He is small dog friendly, and his best friend is a teeny tiny chihuahua! Momo is a smarty pants— He already knows commands like “sit” and would love to join you on daily walks to explore the world together. Speaking of exploring, Momo makes a great shotgun rider. So the possibilities are limitless on where you will go together! He often joins his foster family for trips to the local dog park, where he is able to show off his fetch skills in front of everyone. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, toy-tossing, and heartwarming companion, Momo is ready to bring his big personality to your home. His foster family told us that he is just so sweet and it took no time for them to fall in love with him. So, what do you say, are you ready to experience the Momo lovin’ life? You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!  The adoption fee is $1,000 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!  We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.  Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
