Meet Jude! Ready, set, GO! That’s my motto. I'm a gorgeous 2 yr old black male standard poodle with tons of energy and a massive love for tennis balls. If you have a backyard and a squeaky toy, we will get along great. I’m a quick learner who loves to show off my fetching skills, and I’m already housebroken. I’m great with other dogs, cat-friendly, and fully vetted. I am a bit of a 'diamond in the rough' when it comes to training—I’m super smart but need someone to teach me basic manners. Because I love people so much, I often jump up to say hello, so I need to be in a home with older children who won’t get knocked over.  Life was a bit tough on me when I was abandoned, so I’m looking for a patient, loving forever home to show me that humans are okay. I’m a little underweight right now, so I’m on a special mission to fill out! To help my tummy handle all my yummy new food, I use a 'slow feeder' bowl at every meal or a Kong Wobbler. It turns breakfast and dinner into a fun puzzle and makes sure I don't eat too fast. Once I trust you, I am your best friend! To ensure the best match for this special boy, a fenced yard is required for his safe play, and an approved application is necessary. Roux was born May 17th, 2025 and is a sweet, energetic baby boy! My sister originally bought him and ended up moving into an apartment she could not have him, so I took him in for her. Unfortunately, I travel every other week now for work, if not every week, and am unable to give him the love and attention he deserves!. He is AKC registered standard poodle, just looking for him to go to a loving home.

Introducing Benji! Benji is a 10-month-old poodle mix with the most adorable face and the softest, curly coat that makes him look like a living teddy bear. His big, expressive eyes and floppy ears give him the sweetest, most lovable expression, and his beautiful curls only add to his charm. Benji is extremely affectionate and has that fun young-dog energy that keeps life lively. He’s a happy-go-lucky boy who bonds quickly with his person and truly just enjoys being around people. If you’re home, he’ll be perfectly content hanging out nearby and being part of whatever you’re doing. He’s playful without being over the top and has been fostered on a farm, where he’s taken all the hustle and bustle in stride. Benji gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, other dogs, and even the farm animals. He’s also very smart and already crate trained and doing well with house training. Benji is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find a forever family who will love his sweet personality and those irresistible curls as much as we do. 🐾💛

Things we know I’m a sweet, social pup who is great with people and other dogs! I have a kind heart, loving personality, and will be a wonderful family pet. All I need to truly thrive is love, guidance and basic training. I passed multiple temperament tests to with people and dogs (including on-leash and off-leash playgroups) in order to come to Felines & Canines. I am AWESOME! Things we don’t know We don’t know about any animal’s housebreaking, as they are all in our shelter, not a home environment. However, all of our dogs go outside multiple times a day to go potty and go on walks. We can’t guarantee breeds or ages, but we do our best to put forth an educated guess! Next steps Our adoption fee for dogs over six months is $275, under six months is $350, which includes vaccinations, a microchip, deworming, spay/neuter surgery, anti-parasitic preventatives.
