Story
This is Bo and Peep! These curly-haired sweethearts arrived at the shelter as strays with very dirty and tangled coats. We were able to clean them up a bit, and they seem to feel much better. It is very important for dogs with their coat type to get regular grooming (every 4-6 weeks) to avoid this in the future. Bo is a charming boy, and Peep is his equally lovely sister. We think they're both around one year old, full of youthful energy and ready to explore the world with their new family. Bo and Peep seem to share a special bond and find comfort and security in each other's presence, so we are prioritizing homes willing to adopt both, but they aren't required to go together. Poodles are a very sweet breed and would likely thrive in a home where they can get plenty of attention and cuddles. Bo and Peep have been vaccinated, and will leave the shelter microchipped and spayed/neutered so long as no owner comes forward, so they are all ready to start their new lives. They will be on a stray hold until 4/22, but we will be accepting applications for them immediately. $350.00 adoption fee includes neuter, vaccines, and microchip. $600 adoption fee for the pair. Please consider opening your heart and home to this deserving duo. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Scotty is a sweet, 1-year-old Poodle mix weighing 16.4 pounds, who has recently made strides towards a brighter future after being found matted and dirty as a stray alongside his brother, Sonny. With a lot of love and patience, Scotty is gradually gaining confidence but remains a bit shy. He is undergoing socialization with people and other dogs, making progress day by day. To help him thrive, Scotty would benefit from a calm canine companion who can show him the ropes in a loving home environment. His new family should be prepared to offer him reassurance and support as he adapts to his new life as a pampered pet. While he's still learning to navigate new experiences, it will be truly rewarding to watch him blossom. Scotty does need continued leash training and is still working on house training, but he's already using a doggie door with the commands "outside" or "go potty." He sleeps in a crate at night, although he would love the option to snuggle with you instead. While breed experience is preferred due to Scotty's needs, he has been neutered, freshly shaved, vaccinated, and microchipped, making him ready for his forever home. Regular grooming will be a part of his upkeep. If you're looking for a loving companion and have the patience to help Scotty thrive, he would make a wonderful addition to your family! Story
Ollie is such a sweet and special boy with a quiet and lovely nature. Ollie is an 1 ½ -year-old, 14-pound wheat-colored Poodle/Chihuahua mix (his mother is a Poodle and dad is a Chihuahua). Ollie is a lovable pup who will need time to adjust to his new surroundings. He thrives best in a calmer environment, ideally with another friendly dog. He loves snuggling up with other dogs, and having a canine companion would be perfect for him! Because of Ollie’s gentle, bashful demeanor, we recommend a home with adults or older teenagers. He may take his time warming up, but once he trusts you, you’ll see his sweet and gentle nature shine through. Ollies does well at the sanctuary using the doggie door to go potty outside, He will benefit from some leash training to help him build confidence. Ollie is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, making him ready for adoption! If you think you can open your heart and home to this sweet boy, come meet Ollie he promises to be an adorable addition to the family. He deserves a warm and loving environment where someone can show him lots of love. Thank you for considering adopting Ollie, he's sure to bring so much joy and companionship to the right home.
