Meet our sweet Biscuit! This handsome, sweet, timid young dog is slowly opening up and starting to show a very loving & calm personality. Once he knows you are kind, Biscuit likes nothing more than sitting by your side and hanging out, he willingly jumps into the car and is a quiet passenger who watches the world roll by. He has been great with other dogs his own size and is polite when meeting new friends. We are working on his potty training and leash manners, and being the smart Poodle he is, he is learning fast. Biscuit would thrive in an experienced Poodle home with teens rather than young children. He is quite shy around men and does seem to prefer female company but is doing well with his current foster and this is certainly something that can be overcome in the right home. Margot is a happy young girl who is seeking a patient owner ready to teach her the ways of the world. She was found in sad shape, hungry and full of fleas, along with two siblings, before being networked to us at the farm. Margot enjoys nothing more than being around people, and she is playing very well in her social group of dogs of similar size. She can be reactive around dogs she is unfamiliar with, so we recommend a slow introduction when meeting new friends. Meet Fozzie Bear! He may be blind, but this good boy has a BIG nose for love, and is always eagerly searching for his newest best friend. He is incredibly friendly, cheerful, and has one of the most upbeat dispositions of any dog we've ever met. He is nervous when meeting new men, but opens up once he knows that they are safe, nice, and a great source of treats! His tail never stops wagging and his favorite place is pressed against your leg so he can follow you everywhere you go. He maps out new places quickly and adjusts well to home settings. He has awkward dog manners, as he can't see their visual communication cues, but has been making great progress ain foster, and gets along well with tolerant and playful dogs. This big boy will thrive with a committed and patient family that will dedicate the time he needs for training and will accommodate his special needs. Fozzie needs a home without cat's as he likes to chase them; he is playful and rambunctious, and is not suited to a family with small or young children. Apply for him today! Diva is the farthest thing from a Diva! She is a sweet natured and tender hearted girl. She is a bit shy but is warming up quickly and starting to show her brighter playful side with her foster humans and foster siblings. She loves nothing more than a gentle pet or scratch on her back. When she is happy she prances around like a horse. She is sleeping well through the night next to her foster humans bed and when taken outside- she goes potty. Diva came to Milo severely matted and very skinny. She has been shaved down short and it will take a little bit for her beautiful black coat to fill in where the matts caused thinning hair and dander. She is on the "all you can eat diet" as she tries to gain some much needed weight. She is being fostered with one tiny and two large dogs- she has done well with all of them. She is also being fostered with two dog-saavy cats and has ignored them so far. She appears to be a Standard Poodle on the smaller end of the spectrum. Potential adopters will need to familiarize themselves with the grooming needs of owning a poodle! Diva is a delight!

A very sweet, tolerant Standard Poodle. He has an interesting taupe coloring. Here's what our amazing volunteer's had to say about him: "Bogart is a charming, outgoing and handsome standard poodle - whatever misfortune brought him to Milo will be a stroke of great fortune for his new future family, whether it's a family of one or of ten. Although he had just arrived at Milo, when we took him out for a walk and some play time, he seemed happy as a clam. When we let him off leash in a big fenced-in area and walked along the path, he pranced along with us, sniffing at things and trotting ahead for a little bit, but always circling back to be near us, even though we just met him, No one is a stranger for long with Bogart! He didn't seem clingy or needy, he just liked being with people. He does need to learn not to pull on the leash when walking, but that's not a difficult lesson for a dog to learn, especially one as bright and happy to please as Bogart. We looked up poodle colors, and he is a "silver-beige". Fancy!"

They are super sweet, like to play fetch, are looking forward to training, hikes and hanging out on the sofa with you.
