Story
If you're looking for a dog who can make you laugh every single day, Bayli is ready to apply for the job. At just over a year old, he's every bit the teenager, full of energy, curiosity, and a healthy dose of goofy charm. Bayli came to BENCHS from another shelter with his brother, and he absolutely loves to play. Whether he's tossing toys around, chewing on a favorite bone, or romping through the yard, he's happiest when he's on the move. He's an active young dog who will thrive with a family that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to continue learning. Like any teenager, Bayli is still working on his manners. He's learning basic commands like "sit" and is eager to please, but he'll benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to help him become the best version of himself. One thing Bayli has already mastered is giving kisses. He's an affectionate boy who loves spending time with his people and isn't shy about handing out puppy smooches. His silly personality and playful antics make him a joy to be around. We're not entirely sure what breed mix Bayli is, but he has a beautiful medium length coat that does shed. While no dog is truly hypoallergenic, his coat may be a bit more allergy friendly than that of many heavier shedding breeds. Because Bayli came to us from another shelter, we don't know if he's lived in a home before, so his potty training is a bit of a mystery. His new family should expect to spend some time helping him learn a consistent routine and celebrating his successes along the way. Bayli enjoyed the company of his similarly sized brother and would likely do well with another dog after a slow, thoughtful introduction. If you're looking for a fun loving, affectionate companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Bayli is ready to bring excitement, laughter, and lots of kisses to his forever home.

Story
I adopted Rigby in March of 2026 through a rescue called Wags and Whiskers of MN. He is estimated to be around 19 months old. His DNA testing came back as being a Standard Poodle and German Shepherd Mix. I am rehoming him as I have a very demanding job with inadequate time to attend to his daily attention needs and exercise requirements. Additionally, he is not acclimating well to living in an apartment and appears to be having difficulty living in the city with constant noises and foot traffic. When considering a new environment for Rigby I think he would thrive in a house that’s located in a suburb/rural area with a fenced in back yard. He would also do well with experienced dog owners and a huge added benefit would be for the home to have another dog for him to play with/get his energy out. It’s imperative to note he is highly active with extensive daily exercise requirements. Rigby has been a wonderful and loving companion. He is adventurous, loyal, playful, and energetic.

Story
We got Mozzie as a young puppy from the breeder. He is now 3 years old and 85lbs. He has been through training with a professional and is generally responsive to commands and does well leash walking. He requires grooming, either regular brushing or hair cuts every few months, to avoid getting matted. He is very affectionate and just needs more attention and time than we can give him anymore.

Story
Danube, or “Dani” as we call her, is a 9 week old lab mix puppy with tan fur, darker markings, and pretty hazel eyes.  She is the smallest of her litter of three, with a lot of energy.   She is the most energetic of the group, and also the most social.  Wherever there is fun to be had, she’s already there.     Danube is quite affectionate and enjoys snuggle time with humans.  She likes to be carried around, but also loves walking with humans (and the pack).     Danube and her siblings are quite lab-like in personality – they love to run, wrestle, and play tug-of-war.  Dani enjoys carrying toys around, and when she’s not, she remembers exactly where they are.    The pups have been in a large open pen, but we’re starting to crate train for short periods.  They settle in quickly and remain quiet through the night.  In fact, this litter has always been pretty quiet, making noises mainly when hungry.  They have been a dream to foster!  Potty training is still a ways away, but all three pups are learning to run straight to the door when coming out of their kennel in the morning or at meal times.  Dani might grow to be a bigger dog, so a home with adequate space would be best.  A fenced yard with room to roam would be wonderful, but with consistent training she could do well in other settings.  If you think this could be a good fit for your home, Dani would love to meet you!         Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 21, 2026, 12:53 pm
