PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE A FOSTER BASED RESCUE IN TX. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY NOT IN YOUR STATE BUT WILL BE TRANSPORTED ONCE ADOPTED VIA VAN. OUR APP CAN BE FOUND AT haydudeequine.org Hi, I'm Coconut! 🥥 I'm a one-year-old, 45-pound doodle mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. If you're looking for a dog who believes life is better when we're together, I think we should meet! My favorite place in the world? Right next to you...or even better, on your lap! I'm a total cuddle bug, I give amazing hugs, and if you move from one room to another, don't worry—I was planning on going there too. I just really love being with my humans. I'm pretty laid back most of the time, but I also enjoy getting outside, going for walks (I'm a good girl on a leash!), and I've recently discovered how much fun it is to play with other dogs. My buddy Buddy has been teaching me that wrestling and zoomies are pretty awesome, so I'd love a home with another friendly dog to hang out with. I also have a little secret...I'm more athletic than I look! Apparently I've been watching the deer, because I figured out how to jump a fence just like they do. So I'll need a home with a tall, secure fence and people who will keep an eye on me when I'm outside. Let's talk about food...I LOVE it! Don't worry, I'm not food aggressive at all—I just get a little too excited when it's mealtime. I even eat from a puzzle bowl because I think every meal should come with a fun challenge. I think I'd be happy with respectful kids, an active family, and people who want me to be part of their everyday life. I'm not looking to be a backyard dog—I want to be where my family is. I'll happily be your walking buddy, your couch buddy, your errand buddy...basically your everything buddy. One more thing. People sometimes get excited because I'm a doodle mix, but I hope my forever family chooses me because of who I am, not just what I look like. I'm loyal, affectionate, goofy, and ready to love my people with my whole heart. If you're looking for a best friend who gives great hugs, loves adventures, and will never let you feel alone, I think we might just be the perfect match. Love, Coconut 🥥❤️

Story
Meet Leo! Leo is a sweet, loving gentleman who is discovering that the good life includes soft beds, belly rubs, and following his favorite person from room to room. While he's still getting used to the sights and sounds of suburban living, he's taking it all in stride with his calm, easygoing personality.  Though he can be a little anxious in new situations,  Leo is gaining confidence every day and thrives with gentle encouragement and reassurance  This handsome boy is house-trained and thrives on a predictable routine.  While he’s still learning to clearly signal when he needs a potty break, staying on a regular schedule sets him up for success.  At night, he sleeps peacefully beside his foster mom's bed, and during the day he's happy to relax in his kennel, nap in a cozy spot, or act as her loyal shadow. If you're looking for a built-in best friend, Leo is happy to apply for the position. Leo is a smart pup who learns quickly. He rides beautifully in the car and walks nicely on a leash, making him a wonderful companion for errands and adventures.  He’s eager to continue building his confidence and learning new skills through obedience training with his forever family.  With patience, consistency, and plenty of encouragement, Leo is sure to blossom into an even more confident and devoted best friend.  Leo has shown friendly, respectful behavior around other dogs and seems to enjoy canine company. He has only had one brief introduction to a cat so far, which went well, but any future feline friendships should be built through slow, thoughtful introductions to help everyone feel comfortable and set them up for success. Leo's foster family describes him as polite and affectionate, and wonderfully easy to have around. He doesn't ask for much—just a loving home, a comfy place to nap, and someone to share his quiet devotion with. Could Leo be the missing piece your family has been looking for? Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 17, 2026, 10:14 pm

Story
**Currently Residing in a Foster Home.**I’m Merlin, a handsome 3-year-old grey Standard Poodle with a soft heart and a gentle soul. I was found as a stray, and when no one came to claim me, I made my way to Animal Ark to start fresh. I’m a sweetheart through and through. I am sensitive, smart, and eager to bond with someone who understands me. I do best in a calm home with adults or older teens (16+), where I can feel safe, loved, and appreciated for the loyal companion I’m ready to be. I may have had a mysterious beginning, but I’m hoping my next chapter is full of comfort, kindness, and a family who sees just how great I am.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!         If you’re looking for a puppy who will fill your home with laughter, love, and endless happy moments, Natalie just might be your perfect match. This sweet Goldendoodle girl has been an absolute joy in foster care. She has a heart full of love, a playful spirit, and the kind of personality that makes everyone she meets fall for her. Natalie adores people and is happiest when she’s surrounded by her favorite humans. Whether she’s following you around the house, snuggling up for bedtime, or greeting new friends with a wagging tail and an excited bounce, she approaches life with contagious enthusiasm. She’s friendly, outgoing, and always excited to hop in the car for a new adventure. One of Natalie’s greatest joys is playing with other dogs. She and her resident foster sister have become the best of friends, spending their days wrestling, playing, and chewing on bones together. Because of how much she enjoys canine companionship, Natalie would love a home with another playful dog to help burn off puppy energy and continue teaching her the ropes. That said, she could also thrive as an only dog if her family is home often and ready to give her plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise. Like any young puppy, Natalie is still learning. She’s working on her basic manners and commands and is catching on quickly. She can get a little excited when meeting new people and may jump up to say hello, but she’s eager to please and has all the makings of a wonderful, well-mannered adult with continued positive training. At bedtime, Natalie would happily choose to cuddle up in bed with her people and canine friends. While the kennel isn’t her favorite place, she’s making good progress. She may bark for a little while when first crated if left home alone, but she eventually settles down and keeps her kennel clean. She’s also doing well with house training, though like many puppies, she’ll need continued supervision—especially around carpet, where accidents are more likely. On hard flooring, she does very well. Natalie truly is the total puppy package: affectionate, playful, social, adventurous, and full of love. She’ll reward the family willing to invest in her puppy training with years of loyal companionship, goofy antics, and unconditional love. Whoever welcomes Natalie home won’t just be adopting a puppy—they’ll be gaining a best friend.   I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. If you are looking for a best friend, please fill out the puppy application. The more info you include on the application the better so I can find a good match for my forever home. Get your toy box ready! **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.  T his puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion.   Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
