Milo is 3 and 55 lbs . . He is a doll. sweetest boy ever but full of ENERGY. He must have a pal his size to play with. and a fenced yard. No EXCEPTIONS almost house trained. if you let him out often enough then no problem. He is dog friendly. Milo is a wonderful boy. his dad was 70 lbs and his mom 50. I expect he will be about 55 lbs since growing so fast. He is chipped and had all his vaccines. He is neutered email for an application Mdcctennis@aol.com or on website roadhomerescue.com no electric fences . kids over 8 since he is large and can knock them over . He is a Good looking guy. we do a trial foster to adopt. I have new pixs I will post soon/

Olive came to us from very sad circumstances. Her owner got breast cancer, lost her house and had been living in a car with four dogs. She managed to find a hotel after three weeks, but could not keep the dogs. The dogs were living in filth, and the owner made the painful decision to rehome them when she realized she couldn’t properly care for them. Olive was understandably terrified when she came to us, but is starting to come out out of her shell. Because she is only 10 months old we think she will recover from the ordeal and be a lovely pet for someone. Olive is shed free. Her mother was a purebred Poodle and her father was reportedly part Maltese and part Shih Tzu. Olive is a gentle soul and good with other dogs.

Rembrandt - Doodle, 3 years old, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. Rembrandt is an energetic pup, loves to run and chase a ball in a fenced in yard. He is house and crate trained. He enjoys lounging on a couch and watch Netflix:) If you don’t allow pets on furniture, Rembrandt is not the dog for you  . Rembrandt requires a secured fenced-in yard ( 5ft )- no exceptions  !  Rembrandt is not suitable for an apartment! We do not adopt to homes with electric/invisible fencing!  We prefer local adoptions (Triangle/Triad area). We do home visits prior to adoption and we can’t travel more than 2 hr from Burlington NC ! We are a small foster based rescue, a meet and greet with our dog is by appointment only! Here’s more about Raven:    Doodle/Poodle mix; 2-3 years old; Female, fully vetted, spayed and microchipped  Personality traits:  Although a little shy shy and timid, she is calm, loyal and affectionate. Once she learns to trust you, she’ll never leave your side. She does a happy dance when it’s time for food and gets so excited to greet you when you get home.  Likes:  Long walks, visiting local coffee shops, relaxing on the porch, calmness and routine. Dislikes:  Scary noises, sudden movements, and overwhelming environments  Quirks:  She is reserved and keeps to herself around new people in new places. She likes to observe what is going on around her and appreciates a calm environment with a good routine. She is so sweet and gentle. She can take a while to warm up and get comfortable in her new environment, so she deserves a human who will be patient and gentle with her as she learns to trust them. Raven is a delight on the leash and makes for the best walking buddy.  She gets more confident every day, loves shewing her bones and is starting to become more playful. She will do best in a home without children and with someone who enjoys walks. Raven would be fine an only dog or with another dog who is mature, calm and friendly.  Although she gets along well with other dogs, she would like her space as she gets acclimated in a new home. Her soulful eyes captured our heart.  Iris is about 2 years old and a smart, scrappy, affectionate little watchdog! She is content to snuggle close, but also loves to play, and collects and cherishes her toy stuffies. Although she gets along well with submissive dogs, she would LOVE to be the one and only! Iris' left front leg has a deformity, the vet said likely it was fractured in the past and never set and healed that way. It doesn't keep her from running around in delight. Initially frightened, she's learned quickly how to live in a home around family and is learning housetraining. Despite being used for breeding, Mimi is still so sweet and so loving. She’s shy at first, but once she gets comfortable her true colors start to shine through and they are BOLD! This little queen knows exactly how cute she is and will have you wrapped around her little toe in no time! Mimi would do best in a home where she is the only dog, or one of very few. She gets along with other dogs just fine, she is just very submissive and needs some space to be her true self. Mimi is not house trained or leash trained. She may have some kind of trauma associated with leashes because she is extra fearful when you put a leash on her. Her foster is working on collar and leash training, but it would be best for her to be in a home with some fenced space for her to run around.
