Story
Meet Colby-he's a lot of personality wrapped in fur! This guy's got energy for days and a whole lot of enthusiasm, especially when it comes to rowdy playtime with his high-energy female friends. He's a goofy, fun-loving guy who thinks jumping on heads and humping things are just as fun as fetch. Colby definitely needs a tolerant housemate who can handle his playful (and sometimes cheeky) antics. If you're up for a goofy, full-throttle buddy who'll keep you on your toes, Colby's your guy! If you're interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Colby 258820".He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Story
Grizzly is a poodle mix, probably a Schnauzer doodle. He's 4 years old and is an owner surrender. He grew up in a home with other dogs and small children. There are cats in his foster home and Grizzly is curious about them, but not overly intent to get them. He definitely knows the NO command. In his previous home, Grizzly doesn't seem to have gotten a lot of work on things like leash training so he is working on his leash skills. He's getting better, but a fenced-in yard would be best for him--plus he loves to run! While people may be attracted to dogs like Grizzly because of his "low shedding" poodle heritage, it is important to understand that he is a bit dog who needs to be professionally groomed 3 to 4 times a year at the least. His hair is a lot, and, since he doesn't shed, his hair grows longer and longer. Please consider the annual expense of properly caring for this absolutely wonderful dog. He loves to be wherever you are and is used to sleeping in the owner's bedroom. He's not a furniture surfer, content with a nice rug and dog bed. He does not seem to be a very vocal dog. He's pretty chill. Grizzly would be a great family dog or a wonderful buddy for a couple or single owner. He'd be fine as an only dog or with other dogs in the household.

Story
Teddy is a 2 year old AKC Registered poodle. He is a very small standard poodle, weighing in at only 27lbs. He has been to professional training and knows basic commands and walks on a leash well. Teddy came from showlines and is a very handsome boy. He is very calm and gentle and just wants to be around you. He is a low energy guy and loves to just lay around your feet most of the day. However, the minute you pull out a leash, he is always ready for a walk. He is housebroken, has great manners, and does great with other animals. He has been around other dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and children. Comes with toys and supplies.

Story
NOTE: Please read our entire write-up before contacting us. If you don't know the age, breed, weight, what vet care we provide our dogs, the adoption fee, or how to apply, you have not read the write-up. Dulcie Breed: Poodle mix Gender: Female, spayed DOB: 11-7-2023 Weight: approx. 10 pounds Microchipped Adoption Fee: $400 We love little Dulcie! Once she gets to know you, she is all about her people! She is eager to please, eager to play, and eager to slumber during quiet time! All around, she's a lot of fun and a wonderful companion! Dulcie is a wonderful little dog who had a few challenges before we got her! She had been hit by a car and broke her pelvis. She recovered from her pelvis injury, but once we were given the all-clear to groom her, it was discovered she had also broken her left foot! She had a severely luxating patella on the same leg and we had that repaired. The vet examined the foot at that time and it was determined the foot did not require further intervention. So, she's a great little dog who can walk and run who often holds up her leg when she is tired. We are seeking an adults-only home for Dulcie that will take her for the walks she loves and on outings to pet friendly locations! She LOVES people, loves other dogs and is a happy companion! Can you guess her favorite game? FETCH! She could play this all day, if allowed! She's a cray cray girl when it comes to playing fetch! This little girl is a fantastic dog who is just looking for the right people to call family!
