Story
Hello! IIII am Mr. EEEEDDD! My favorite things include playing with toys, going for walks, and of course, treats! I’m also what my foster family calls a "happy talker," so expect some adorable vocalizations if I’m feeling chatty. At night, I sleep soundly in my crate without any fuss. You might have noticed that I’m a poodle and not a horse (of course), so I will require regular grooming to keep my beautiful coat healthy and mat-free. The good news? I absolutely love to be pampered and have spa days at the groomer! If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, and energetic companion to join your active lifestyle, I might just be the perfect addition to your family! I’d love to meet you!

Story
Harper is a 6 year old, 52 lb Poodle mix. Sweet Harper came to us after living primarily outside in rough conditions, and now she is now learning about all the luxuries of being in a loving, warm home! Harper absolutely loves being around people and is a true "velcro dog" who will follow you everywhere. Because of her past, she does get a little worried being left alone, so she would love to find a family who is home more often than not. She is doing so much better every day with gaining her confidence and becoming independent! Harper is a great blend of playful pup and cuddle bug. She loves to explore her yard and play with her doggie friends (gotta get those zoomies out!) and then she will come inside and sit right by you on the couch while you wind down for the evening. Harper is already 100% potty trained and crate trained and is learning how to walk on a leash. Because of her size and bursts of energy, she would do best in a home with older kids (who she won't easily knock down) or adults only. Harper will also need a home with a fenced in yard so she can safely play. Harper is ready to find her perfect forever and she promises to shower her new family in love! Will that be you? Harper is Heartworm Positive and is currently undergoing treatment - paid for by CrisisDogsNC. If adopted prior to the completion of her treatment, the rescue will continue to pay for her treatment. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. to ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!January 21, 2025, 2:15 pm

NOTE: Please read our entire write-up before contacting us. If you don't know the age, breed, weight, what vet care we provide our dogs, the adoption fee, or how to apply, you have not read the write-up. Dulcie Breed: Poodle mix Gender: Female, spayed DOB: 11-7-2023 Weight: approx. pounds Microchipped Adoption Fee: $400 We love little Dulcie! Once she gets to know you, she is all about her people! She is eager to please, eager to play, and eager to slumber during quiet time! All around, she's a lot of fun and a wonderful companion! Dulcie is a wonderful little dog who had a few challenges before we got her! She had been hit by a car and broke her pelvis. She recovered from her pelvis injury, but once we were given the all-clear to groom her, it was discovered she had also broken her left foot! She had a severely luxating patella on the same leg and we had that repaired. The vet examined the foot at that time and it was determined the foot did not require further intervention. So, she's a great little dog who can walk and run who often holds up her leg when she is tired. We are seeking an adults-only home for Dulcie that will take her for the walks she loves and on outings to pet friendly locations! She LOVES people, loves other dogs and is a happy companion! Can you guess her favorite game? FETCH! She could play this all day, if allowed! She's a cray cray girl when it comes to playing fetch! This little girl is a fantastic dog who is just looking for the right people to call family! Meet Chewy – Your New Best Friend! When Chewy first came into foster care, he was a matted mess and a little shy. But after a much-needed grooming and some TLC, his true personality is shining through, and he’s ready to find his forever home! Chewy is the ultimate companion – your little shadow who will follow you everywhere you go. He's incredibly well-mannered and listens when told to stay in his bed, but he’ll be the first to snuggle up with you if you invite him on the couch or bed. A sweet and trusting boy, Chewy thrives on love and affection and will be your loyal sidekick through it all. He is even great with other dogs and gets along swimmingly with his foster brother. Whether it’s a simple walk or a quiet day spent relaxing together watching TV, Chewy is content with the simple joys of life. If you’re looking for a cuddly, low-maintenance buddy who’s all about sharing quiet moments and offering endless love, Chewy is the one for you!
