Story
Gus is a lovable poodle mix (poodle/husky/golden retriever), almost 3 years old and about 75–80 lbs. He has been with our family since he was 8 weeks old and has grown up with my 3-year-old son and two teenage daughters. He is gentle, affectionate, and loves being close to his people. Gus enjoys snuggling and has a funny habit of laying on his back with his feet in the air. He has been raised with two cats and does very well with them, and he is great with children of all ages. Gus is house-trained and used to a fenced yard. He does okay on a leash but would benefit from more practice. He knows “sit” and may get excited and jump when meeting new people but settles quickly. He has a low to medium energy level and is happy playing or relaxing. He is food-motivated and may take food left out. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has no medical concerns. Due to unexpected financial changes and an upcoming move, we are looking for a safe and loving home for Gus.

We are looking to re-home our parents beloved standard poodles. My parents have been moved to a nursing facility and can no longer care for their dogs. We’d prefer to keep them together. Spike (3) and Aero (8) are good dogs who need a loving home. Probably best with adults or older children who like to walk and play.

This fluffy guy came to us as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but he’s quickly stealing hearts here at the shelter! We believe Shaggy is a 1-year-old intact male Poodle mix. He’s a super friendly, happy boy who soaks up all the attention he can get. He loves to play ball and is always excited for treats. He’s currently learning the ropes when it comes to walking on a leash and is making great progress. He also doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, treat-loving best friend, Shaggy might just be your guy! Shaggy did great for his exam where he weighs in at 52 lbs. where he was given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative. Our adoptions are $100 cash/ local check only. Our visiting hours are Monday- Friday 8am- 11:45am and 1pm- 4pm. We are located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville OH. 45331.
