Hi. I’m Anubis. Resident giant shaggy dude. Professional snack enthusiast. Amateur lap dog. (Nobody told me there’s a size limit.)When I first got here, I was pretty nervous. I had spent my whole life in a home, so moving into a shelter was… well… a lot. I wasn’t really sure what to think of everyone. But I’ve been here for a while now, and I’ve realized that the people here are actually pretty cool. Especially the ones who carry treats.Speaking of treats… if you have snacks, congratulations! We are already becoming best friends. Add a few belly rubs or snuggles, and I’ll probably start following you around like your very own scruffy shadow. I still seem to trust the guys a little faster, but honestly, anyone willing to spoil me with cookies and cuddles is my kind of person.I’ve also discovered that, despite being a pretty big fella myself, I actually like hanging out with smaller animals more than giant dogs. Big dogs can make me a little nervous, and that’s okay! We all have our preferences.Everyone keeps telling me I’m a really good boy, and I think they’re onto something.
