Home life is still new to Honey, and she will need time, patience, and guidance as she learns routines, house manners, and expectations. She will benefit greatly from consistent, positive training and a family willing to help her navigate this new chapter with kindness and structure. Because Honey is energetic and enthusiastic, she would do best in a home with older children who can match her size and confidence. Her joyful, bouncy nature may be a bit much for very young kids, as she could accidentally knock them over during play. What is my personality like? Honey arrived in rescue after her human mother died. Honey is a strong, confident girl with a steady presence and a heart that’s ready to connect. She has raised puppies before and knows how to communicate clearly with other dogs, setting respectful boundaries without being reactive or unkind. Honey carries herself with natural leadership and a calm assurance that makes her easy to trust. Honey is a 3-year-old Lab–Poodle mix who truly enjoys being outdoors. Having spent much of her life outside, she’s happiest when she has room to move, explore, and breathe in the fresh air. She would love an active lifestyle filled with walks, hikes, and everyday adventures alongside her people. Honey is ready for a life where she can be both guided and loved - where her confidence is respected and her heart has room to open fully. With the right home, she has everything it takes to become a devoted, adventurous, and deeply rewarding companion. How do I act when I first meet new people? At first, Honey may take a moment to warm up to new people. She likes a gentle approach—but once she hears a kind voice and is offered a calm, open hand, her walls melt away. From there, she’s your buddy: loyal, engaged, and happy to be right by your side. Having never lived as a household pet, everything about home life will be new to Red. While she is naturally confident, she will need patience, guidance, and time to learn routines, house manners, and expectations. Red will require all basic training and a family willing to help her grow into her role as a loved and cherished companion. Red is comfortable stepping slightly outside of her comfort zone and, with time to warm up, would do just fine as an only dog. She has a calm, easygoing nature, but because she has spent her life around other dogs, continued socialization and regular doggy playdates will be important for her happiness and confidence. What is my personality like? Red is a young, sweet doodle with a face that instantly melts your heart. He was adopted in early 2025. In May 2025, Trooper returned to rescue when his owner said they could no longer care for him. We are so thankful he did - Trooper had an intestinal blockage and required emergency surgery to save his life. Trooper was adopted a second time in June 2025. He returned to rescue in August. We know what Trooper needs in a forever home. It is non-negotiable. Please read his description fully. Reason for being in rescue: Breeder release / Owner surrender Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Trooper is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 01/08/25 Trooper had a dental polishing. On 05/05/25 Trooper had emergency surgery to remove an intestinal blockage. Trooper had eaten part of a cloth toy. It's imperative that Trooper's forever home monitors him closely and understands that, if bored, he will go exploring and will eat things. Weight: 44 lbs Height: 26 in at the shoulder Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $599 Fence needed? No, but sweet Trooper has never lived without the security and safety of a physically fenced in yard for running and play time.   What kind of home would be best for me?  Trooper is a fantastic dog who hates being left alone. He also has a penchant for mischief and eating things he shouldn't. Things can be dangerous. We like to think he's got a lot of curiosity built up!  Trooper is versatile and would thrive in a home with a single person, a couple, or a family. He’s not overly active and doesn’t jump, so he could be a great fit for families with children of any age. Trooper has 3 non-negotiables in his forever home. First, it MUST be a stand-alone home. Trooper has a voice and isn't afraid to use it when you leave. Second, you MUST have another large dog that can teach Trooper and model appropriate behavior, And finally, you MUST have a history of crating your dogs and be committed to doing so with Trooper. He will get into things. He will eat things he shouldn't. It is dangerous. What is my personality like?  Meet Trooper – The Red Doodle With a Big Heart and Love of Toys!  Trooper is a stunning red doodle who might just be the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. He’s the kind of pup who wants nothing more than to be your shadow—whether you’re making coffee, folding laundry, or binge-watching TV, Trooper is right there, soaking up every bit of love and attention he can get. He’s a Velcro dog through and through, and he’d prefer a family that’s home more often than not. Now, let’s talk about Trooper’s “hobby” - chewing. He’s a professional. A connoisseur, even. Shoes - Tempting. Arm chairs - Interesting. But don’t worry—with the right family to guide him, he’s learning that toys are where it’s at. Trooper will NEED a crate when he’s left alone—not as punishment, but as his safe space. Think of it like his personal man cave, keeping him (and your furniture) safe until you get home. When fed foods containing chicken, she has become sick, but she has done very well on a fish-based diet. Continuing this diet will be important to help her stay happy and healthy. She will need time, patience, and guidance to learn household routines, manners, and expectations. Formal training will be important for Lily, and with consistency and positive reinforcement, she has all the potential to become a well-rounded, well-mannered companion. For an active family or individual looking for a confident, outdoorsy dog with strong leadership qualities, Lily could be an incredible match. Because of her energetic and boisterous nature, we believe Lily would do best in a home with older children who can handle her enthusiasm. Smaller or younger children may be at risk of being accidentally knocked over by her playful excitement. What is my personality like?
