Story
Meet Charlie Boy, the tiny poodle with a huge heart and a story that will melt yours! 🐾❤️Charlie Boy is a 13-year-old, 4.5-pound sweetheart who came to us after his beloved owner passed away. His family tried their best to care for him, but they knew he needed more help — and that’s when this little fighter joined our rescue family.Charlie came in with some of the worst dental disease we’ve ever seen, with a mouth full of infection and a bottom jaw already dissolved. But thanks to the incredible team at Bee Creek Vet Hospital, Charlie has received the dental work, neuter, and care he so desperately needed. He’s still sporting his adorable tongue-out, toothless grin and working hard on gaining some weight, but his playful spirit and gentle heart are shining through every day.Charlie may be a senior, but he is absolutely full of love. He enjoys soft snacks, cozy blankets, and gentle snuggles. He is heartworm negative, great with people, and ready to find a home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort and love. Charlie Boy does well in foster care and is grateful for every ounce of kindness you send his way. With the help of our transport partners, Charlie Boy can be adopted nationwide! If you’re ready to open your heart to a tiny, brave, and endlessly lovable senior, apply today at mamanutmeg.org. Charlie Boy is waiting to become your sweetest little shadow! 🐶✨

Story
Meet Dante! 🐾 Dante is a handsome 1.5-year-old Poodle weighing in at 54 pounds of pure love and energy. This sweet boy was found as a stray in the Houston area and brought to Camo Rescue by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan. Now, Dante is ready to find his forever home! Dante is not only intelligent but also very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. Dante is also learning commands like “sit” and “lay down,” showing off his eagerness to please and incredible potential. With a consistent schedule and a bit of patience, he’ll have skills perfected in no time. With his puppy energy and larger size, Dante would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He’s dog-friendly and would enjoy having canine siblings to play with, but he’s equally happy as the only pup soaking up all the attention. Due to his enthusiasm and energy, Dante would do best in a home without small children. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and affectionate companion, Dante is your guy! 🐶❤️ Adoption fee is: $500 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Meet Lyric! Lyric is a nearly 2-year-old (turning two in July), 55-pound bundle of joy and affection. We believe she is a Gordon Setter–Poodle mix. She came to us through a Craigslist post offering her for free, and we took her in to ensure she didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Lyric is incredibly affectionate and friendly. She loves to play and does well with small dogs—she’s currently fostered with 15- and 24-pound pups. She is potty trained, kennel trained, and making great progress with leash training. Lyric is food-motivated, intelligent, and eager to please, which makes her easy to train. She already knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and lay down. She’s also easy to bathe and tolerates nail trimming well. Since she’s young and athletic, Lyric would thrive in an active home that can give her regular walks—or even runs! She’s good with children, but due to her size and energy level, she’d do best in a home with older kids. Adoption fee is: $375 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. Story
Introducing Lady Avery, a 3½-year-old Goldendoodle with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. Weighing 51 pounds, Lady Avery came to us as an owner surrender along with her brother, Buddy Joe. These two are deeply bonded and will need to be adopted together—they find comfort and joy in each other’s company. Lady Avery is good with other dogs and especially enjoys playing and exploring outside with her sibling. She’s a sweet and affectionate girl who may be a little unsure in new environments, but with time and reassurance, her loving personality shines through. She’s especially motivated by treats (food is definitely the way to her heart!) and enjoys the freedom of being outdoors. She’s currently working on her leash and potty training and will thrive with a patient adopter who can help her build confidence and continue learning. With kindness, consistency, and a little time, Lady Avery will make a wonderful and loyal companion—especially when she has her beloved brother by her side 🐾. Story
Meet Harlow Rene! This 2-year-old, 70-pound Labradoodle is ready to find her forever family. As a hypoallergenic breed, Harlow is a great match for those with allergies. She came to us as an owner surrender and has proven to be a real sweetheart who craves attention and loves being pet. Harlow is very intelligent and already knows how to sit! She is fully house-trained and is working on her leash manners-she's a bit of a puller but improving with consistent guidance. Harlow would thrive as the only pet in her home, as she is not dog-friendly. She is also fearful of and reactive toward men, so a female-only household or one with patient individuals willing to help her build confidence around men would be ideal. This playful and affectionate girl would do best in a home with older kids who can match her energy and provide her with the love and attention she enjoys so much. Harlow is looking for a family who will embrace her quirks and give her the happy, secure life she deserves! Adoption fee is: $300 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable.
