I am a shy, but very sweet girl! I enjoy being around my person; they make me feel safe. I’m not a huge fan of loud noises, but with some patience, I am very trainable. I seek praise over treats and enjoy quality time!

Story
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies and other core vaccinations. Please complete an adoption application at https://www.asvtexas.org/adoption-application.html. Jax is a young doodle that is well socialized, good with other dogs and cats and very friendly.  He needs consistent structure to reinforce his training but he loves toys, walks and car rides!  Jax is doing well with housetraining and sleeps quietly through the night. He is still learning not to jump up when he greets you, body coordination (he is a growing puppy!) and basic training - his "sit" game is strong but checking out what you put on the counter is still hard to resist!  Jax would do best with a similar minded canine playmate to expend his energy and an active family with older children that won't be injured if he bumps into them or forgets jumping up is not an appropriate way to greet his family. His adoption fee includes his current vaccines, neuter, microchip and rabies. *Please note doodles are high energy dogs that require VERY regular grooming and a very active lifestyle* If you are interested in meeting Jax, please submit an adoption application at www.ASVTexas.orgASVT does not have a facility; all of our adoptable pets live in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. No one takes a salary so all donations and grants are used for the rescue animals. June 16, 2025, 9:13 am

Story
Meet Dante! 🐾 Dante is a handsome 1.5-year-old Poodle weighing in at 54 pounds of pure love and energy. This sweet boy was found as a stray in the Houston area and brought to Camo Rescue by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan. Now, Dante is ready to find his forever home! Dante is not only intelligent but also very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. Dante is also learning commands like “sit” and “lay down,” showing off his eagerness to please and incredible potential. With a consistent schedule and a bit of patience, he’ll have skills perfected in no time. With his puppy energy and larger size, Dante would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He’s dog-friendly and would enjoy having canine siblings to play with, but he’s equally happy as the only pup soaking up all the attention. Due to his enthusiasm and energy, Dante would do best in a home without small children. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and affectionate companion, Dante is your guy! 🐶❤️ Adoption fee is: $500 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Meet Chief, a 4-year-old Standard Poodle weighing in at 39 pounds, with a gentle soul and a heart full of love just waiting to be discovered. Chief came to us as a stray in rough shape—underweight and unsure—but he’s been slowly blossoming into the sweet, playful pup he was always meant to be. He can be dog selective, so proper introductions are a must, but he’s done well with the right canine companions. Chief is also great with kids, and while he can be a bit shy and nervous around new people, all it takes is a few gentle pets (and maybe a treat), and he’ll be your best friend. Chief loves running around outside and letting his playful side shine. He’s working on his leash skills and will need some guidance to build confidence on walks. His potty training is coming along nicely, but he’ll benefit from a patient home that can help him continue to improve. This lovable boy is ready for a fresh start with a family who will show him the kindness and care he deserves. 🐾🖤 Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. Story
Meet Atreyu, a 1-year-old, 21-pound Aussiedoodle with a big voice, a big heart, and even bigger energy! This gorgeous boy came to us as a stray, and he’s been lighting up the rescue ever since. Atreyu is great with both dogs and kids, and he’s full of that classic puppy zest for life—playful, curious, and always on the move. He’s also very vocal and isn’t shy about letting you know what he wants (or when he wants it!). Atreyu would thrive in an active home with a big backyard where he can run, romp, and play to his heart’s content. He’ll need continued guidance with leash walking, potty training, and basic manners, but with structure and consistency, he’ll be a rockstar. This sweet, loving boy is ready for a family who can match his energy and give him all the love and stimulation he craves. 🐶💥💛 Adoption fee is: $500 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. Story
Meet Harlow Rene! This 2-year-old, 70-pound Labradoodle is ready to find her forever family. She came to us as an owner surrender and has proven to be a real sweetheart who craves attention and loves being pet. Harlow is very intelligent and already knows how to sit! She is fully house-trained and is working on her leash manners-she's a bit of a puller but improving with consistent guidance. Harlow would thrive as the only pet in her home, as she is not dog-friendly. She is also fearful of and reactive toward men, so a female-only household or one with patient individuals willing to help her build confidence around men would be ideal. This playful and affectionate girl would do best in a home with older kids who can match her energy and provide her with the love and attention she enjoys so much. Harlow is looking for a family who will embrace her quirks and give her the happy, secure life she deserves! Adoption fee is: $300 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet.
