We adopted George from a local shelter 3.5 years ago (he was roughly 1ish yrs old, so would now be going on 5 yrs old). He’s a fantastic family dog, very sweet demeanor. Energetic/playful but can also lounge on the couch when the family is relaxing. He started having seizures about a year after we got him. (He’s had 4 in total so far, all under 5 minutes) They are not frequent, so he is not on medicine for them. The vet said to just monitor him and if they start to become more frequent (2 within 6 months) then he would need lifelong medicine for it. We’re needing to rehome him due to our busy schedules and not having the time to manage a dog with a neurological disorder.
