Story
Meet Noodle!   He is a tall, slim, handsome guy who is ready for his forever home. He was out looking for help (or a new home) one day when he came across a couple who helped him find his owners. When the owners were not found, his helpers got him into rescue.  While TSBR generally does not have DNA results for dogs in the program, Noodles’ friends wanted to know what makes up this handsome boy.  72 % Poodle (Medium and Standard) 24 % Golden Retriever 3 % Poodle (Toy and Miniature) 1 % American Cocker Spaniel What a great testament to his fantastic personality! This playful, loving boy is fully vetted and ready to find his new home. Noodle loves all the people he meets. He knows sit, shake, down, and place, and is making good progress on leash training and can heel. He is house-trained and uses a dog door. Noodle sleeps quietly in either his kennel or on a dog bed by his foster’s bed. He does not get up on the furniture or ask to do so, but could probably be convinced if you would like this! Noodle is loved at the vet and great at the groomers. He loves car rides and will lie quietly on a pillow in the back seat.  Noodle does not jump on people or counter surf. He also is not a barker.  He is a trusted member of his foster family and has full range of the house when his fosters are away.     This energetic boy loves to play with other dogs.  He is considerate of older and smaller dogs as well.  He does play energetically with dogs his own age and size… his foster sister taught him that.  Recently, Noodle has shown interest in stuffed toys and a large ball he loves to chase and carry. Falling for Noodle…ask to meet him~ retrieveafriend.org/adoptVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:46 pm

Story
Meet Wario, a happy-go-lucky 10-month-old Poodle mix who is ready to find a family to call his own! This handsome young pup is full of love, personality, and puppy charm. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Wario may be the perfect match.Wario absolutely loves people and thrives on attention and affection. One of his favorite ways to show how happy he is is by giving hugs! This sweet boy enjoys being close to his people and will gladly soak up all the love you have to offer.Wario gets along well with his brother, Waluigi, and may do well with other dogs too. A meet and greet is required to ensure a good fit with any canine companions. He can be adopted together with Waluigi or separately—either way, he`s ready to start his next adventure.Like many young dogs, Wario is still building confidence on walks. He does okay on a leash but is continuing to learn that the world isn`t such a scary place. He`s also still working on his basic puppy manners and training, so he`ll need a patient, loving family willing to help him continue growing into the amazing dog he`s destined to be.As a Poodle mix, Wario will require regular grooming to keep his coat looking and feeling its best. With his affectionate personality, joyful spirit, and eagerness to be loved, Wario would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a faithful companion and best friend. All he needs is someone willing to give him a chance—and plenty of hugs in return.

Story
Bucky has been with the rescue for over a month, and this 9 month old puppy has come a long way in his foster home. Once fearful and unsure, he has settled in and shown himself to be a sweet, playful pup who enjoys being around people and is eager to please. His foster mom says, “Bucky is such a sweetheart. When he first arrived, he was nervous and followed me everywhere, worried I might leave. Now he has settled into our routine and understands that when I go to work, I’ll be back. He gets so excited when I come home and is always ready for love, attention, and plenty of belly rubs!” Bucky loves spending his days playing with the other dogs in his foster home, chasing balls around the backyard, and hanging with his foster dad in the office. He will need another playful dog in his forever home.  He’s also learning that adventures are fun! Bucky is working on his leash manners and has discovered that trips to the dog park are exciting. And now that the weather is warming up, we’ve learned he absolutely loves water. Whenever his foster mom waters the plants, Bucky is right there begging to join in the fun! Bucky is kennel trained and potty trained. He is a German Shepherd/Poodle/Golden Retriever mix and currently weighs about 55 lbs.    If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org   *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2707385##
