Story
Meet Scotty — the scruffy little teddy bear you didn’t know you were missing. One look at his fluffy, perfectly tousled coat and those soft, soulful eyes, and it’s game over. He has that rare, heart-melting kind of cuteness that makes people stop mid-scroll, but it’s his personality that truly steals the show. Scotty isn’t just adorable—he’s the kind of dog who quietly works his way into your heart and makes himself at home there forever. At just around a year old, Scotty is the perfect blend of playful puppy and gentle, easygoing companion. He still has that youthful joy and curiosity, but he carries himself with a softness and calmness that feels so special. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t come in loud or overwhelming—he comes in sweet, patient, and full of love. Check out how cute and fluffy he is in his YouTube video now. https://youtu.be/LxkLHhTrldQ?si=PyUu8CVa1b9pKipY Scotty is currently thriving in a foster home with three children, including a one-year-old, and he has proven himself to be incredibly gentle and trustworthy. He moves around them with such care, as if he understands just how little they are. Whether it’s quietly sitting nearby, accepting pets with the softest expression, or simply being a calm presence in the room, Scotty shows a level of kindness that you don’t often see. He doesn’t just tolerate kids—he truly enjoys them and being part of their world. When it comes to affection, Scotty is everything you could hope for. He loves to cuddle, leaning into you with that warm, comforting presence that makes everything feel a little better. He’s not pushy or demanding—just happy to be close, happy to be loved, and more than happy to give that love right back. But don’t let his gentle nature fool you—Scotty still has a fun, playful side. He enjoys toys and will happily engage in playtime, bringing a light, happy energy without ever being too much. He’s the kind of dog who can play when it’s time to play, then settle right down and relax with you after. That balance makes him incredibly easy to live with and a great fit for many different kinds of homes. What really sets Scotty apart is just how naturally good he is. He has a kind, steady temperament that makes him feel like he’s always been someone’s perfect dog—he’s just waiting for the right person or family to find him. Whether you’re looking for a best friend, a family dog, or a gentle companion to share your days with, Scotty has all the qualities that make a dog truly special. If you’ve been searching for a dog who is as sweet as he is beautiful, as gentle as he is playful, and as loving as they come, Scotty might just be the one. Story
Tinley is the kind of dog who makes you slow down and smile without even trying—she’s soft-eyed, sweet-hearted, and has the most effortlessly lovable, calm presence. With her gentle nature, quiet confidence, and the most adorable little no-tail wiggle that somehow still says “I’m happy to see you,” Tinley is pure comfort wrapped in a dog. She doesn’t demand attention—she invites it—and when you give her love, she takes it in the sweetest, most grateful way. Tinley is about four years old and is believed to be a schnauzer and husky mix—a perfect blend of brains, heart, and just the right amount of personality wrapped into one beautifully unique girl. Even without a tail, she’s an expert communicator. Her happiness shows in her soft expressions, relaxed body language, and the calm way she leans into you when she’s feeling content. That little tail-less charm only adds to her uniqueness and makes her even more special. Check out how chill she is in her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/sKLPrVjfs5c?si=GIpmUJBAbxJGCZU1 She carries herself with a calm, easy energy—never demanding, never overwhelming—just a quiet little companion who is perfectly content to simply be by your side. If you’re looking for a dog who will match your chill vibe, Tinley might just be your perfect match. She absolutely loves affection and will happily lean in for pets and cuddles when you offer them. Tinley is the kind of dog who appreciates love without needing to be the center of attention all the time. She enjoys her people, but she also enjoys doing her own thing—whether that’s relaxing, observing the world, or just soaking up a peaceful moment. She’s the ultimate “I’m here, I love you, but I’m also just vibing” kind of companion. When it comes to other dogs, Tinley has shown that she’s social in her own calm, respectful way. She has met a variety of dogs with different energy levels and handled those interactions beautifully. Tinley prefers polite, low-pressure interactions and isn’t particularly interested in dogs that are overly in her space or trying to constantly engage her in play. She’ll coexist peacefully, take her time, and simply do her own thing. Because of her personality, she would do best with another dog who respects her space and doesn’t expect constant playtime—or she would be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, soaking up all the love for herself. Tinley also met a cat and did well, showing a calm and respectful attitude. She may be able to live with a cat, though she would need further testing to be fully confirmed. Either way, her gentle and easygoing nature shines through in all of her interactions. While she hasn’t met kids yet, Tinley gives off every indication that she would do wonderfully in a home with children. She is calm, patient, and incredibly gentle, especially when taking treats—always soft and polite. Her demeanor suggests she would be a loving, steady presence in a family home. Tinley is also a fantastic leash walker. She enjoys her walks and moves at a nice, easy pace, making her a great companion for strolls around the neighborhood. And if you’re someone who enjoys a good car ride, Tinley is your girl—she’s a true passenger princess who settles in beautifully and enjoys the ride like a pro. In terms of lifestyle, Tinley is very adaptable. She could thrive in an apartment as long as she gets her daily walks and quality time with her person, or she could live happily in a house with a yard. Her easy temperament makes her a great fit for a variety of living situations—she’s just happy to be included and loved. Tinley isn’t the type of dog who needs constant action or high-energy play. Instead, she offers something just as special—peaceful companionship, gentle affection, and a calm presence that makes every moment feel a little more relaxed and a little more joyful. She’s the kind of dog who quietly wins your heart and becomes your little shadow in the sweetest way. If you’re searching for a laid-back, loving, and truly good girl with the best chill vibes—and the most charming little no-tail wiggle—Tinley is ready to meet you and start her next chapter. She’s got so much love to give—she’s just waiting for the right person to share her calm, happy world with. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨ Meet Millie ✨ female - 4 months -19lbs (approximately 40ish lbs grown) - schnauzer/patterdale mix If adorableness were a graded subject, Millie would be your class valedictorian, student body president, and teacher’s favorite… all rolled into one. At just 4–4½ months old and 19 pounds, this Schnauzer/Patterdale Terrier mix is basically a tiny, wiggly bundle of joy with a face that could end arguments, win elections, and absolutely get away with stealing your socks (which… she might do). She does great with people and other dogs. Cats are unknown but at her tender age, if properly introduced, she should do just fine. Millie is everything you expect from a puppy—playful, affectionate, curious, and just the right amount of chaos to keep life interesting. She comes fully equipped with daily zoomies, surprise “what’s in my mouth?” moments, and enough personality to keep you laughing 24/7. 💛 Current hobbies include: – Wiggling directly into your arms without warning – Collecting random “treasures” (leaves, toys, possibly your shoe) – Making you laugh at least 12 times a day – Perfecting her “I’m too cute to be in trouble” face She’s still learning the ropes—leash training is on the to-do list, and as a young pup, she’ll need guidance, patience, and a sense of humor (trust us, you’ll need it… in the best way). But here’s the thing about Millie… underneath all the puppy shenanigans is a very loving little girl who just wants to be close to her people. It only takes a snap of the fingers before she has wiggled her way into your arms… and permanently into your heart. She’s the kind of dog who turns ordinary days into something brighter, sillier, and a whole lot more fun. Apply today at haydudeequine.org if you’re ready for laughter, love, and a lifetime of “did she really just do that?” moments—cuz Millie is ready to be your new bestest friend!! 💕
