Story
I rescued Bella in September of 2021; she was 18 months old. Her first home was with a couple that had a Pitbull that attacked Bella every time she was let out of the crate. Consequently, she would spend up to 12 hours a day in a crate. They gave her up and she spent time in the pound and then a foster home. Her body still had scabs when I got her. When I went to an adoptions fair at a pet store, she and I locked eyes. I spent 20 minutes with her and she would not leave my side. I took her home. She did not know how to walk on a leash (I was afraid she was a broken hip waiting to happen) and she was terrified of dogs. I sent her to live with a dog trainer for 14 days (through K9 trainers). She is smart and eager to please and now walks right by my side. She is no longer afraid of dogs and loves to play. She is not a barker; my neighbors call me to see if I am ok if they hear a bark because it is so rare. She loves everybody. I have two grandkids, now 9 and 6, whom she adores. She is fu
