Meet Whiskers, a lively Schnauzer and Aussie Mix who is sure to bring joy to any home. He is very playful, and his sweet disposition makes him a great companion for snuggling up on the couch! Whiskers has a unique sense of humor that's sure to make you laugh. He's a 25–30-pound bundle of love with a long, scruffy white and chocolate coat that's just begging to be petted. At nine months old, he's a young adult, but he's got the energy and spirit of a puppy! He gets along with dogs but not cats! Whiskers is looking for a family that will appreciate his fun-loving personality and give him the love he deserves! Adopt Whiskers and let him fill your life with laughter and love. Story
Beamer, a 1 year old young, independent Schnauzer mix who has a spirit that's all his own weighs 25 pounds. He's the type of dog who loves to explore and is always on the move, sniffing out new adventures around every corner. Beamer wears a medium/scruffy coat of black and tan! He doesn't need constant attention, but he does appreciate a good belly rub from time to time. Beamer's independence doesn't mean he doesn't love company! He enjoys the companionship of humans and other dogs.  No cats, though! His youthful energy is infectious and his love of life is undeniable! Adopting Beamer means bringing home a friend who will always be there for you, ready to embark on new adventures together. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Mr. MAN saved from a kill shelter in Georgia and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 30 October 2023. Mr. MAN is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. He has an estimated date of birth of October 2021 and in December 2023 has an estimated weight of 45 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue  YouTube channel  and  photo albums on our Facebook page  to see a LOT of pictures and videos. Mr. MAN is an absolute sweetheart, brimming with affection and love. He loves to play and charge around with his other dogs friends, but equally, it nor a little more, likes to be with his humans, as close as can be. He would be great for a family that wanted a dog to take everywhere with them. He has been around adults of all ages, shapes and sizes, small children and people with special needs and was gentle and loving.  He is responsive and is happy to show anyone he meets lots of love. He does need an active family who will ensure he gets all the exercise, both mentally and physically that he needs to live a happy fulfilling life. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. Mr. MAN is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a  reduced adoption  fee of $350. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7.
