Story
Pierce is a good looking boy straight from the streets of Houston. He is a wonderful, funny boy when he trusts you but trust is not something that comes easy for him. He has obviously been let down by humans his entire life. He is currently living with our trainer, who is helping him understand that humans can be good and trusted. Pierce is just about 2 years old, 60 pounds and maybe a schnauzer/husky mix. He needs an experienced handler who can continue to help him build h is confidence and trust in humans. Pierce is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Pierce is currently heartworm positive but we will continue to cover treating him through the slow kill method. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this handsome guy, just fill out the appropriate application found at scoutshonor.org.     Scout's Honor Rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters. EIN # is 87-0773073 Follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/scoutshonorrescue or Instagram at www.instagram.com/scoutshonorrescue We have multiple ways to donate: Venmo:  @ScoutsHonor-Rescue Paypal: www.paypal.me/scoutshonorrescue   https://scoutshonor.org/take-action/donate/ We are strictly volunteer based, no salaries are paid and 100% of donations go towards rescuing dogs November 5, 2024, 1:18 am

Story
Avery is a sweetheart of a dog. I’ve had him almost 3 years now. Not much of a lap dog but does love to be beside you. He loves cats & children. He would be the perfect family dog. Unfortunately I’m leaving out of the state and am unable to bring him which is a very hard decision. He is potty trained and knows basic commands. He loves Salmon dog food and treats. He’s not super hyper and loves a good nap. He has sensitive skin but nothing a little bath won’t help. Please message me if you’re interested. Thank you.

Story
Got it here’s a **clean, Adopt-a-Pet–friendly bio** with that wording removed and phrased to appeal to a wide range of adopters: --- **Meet Luna ** Luna is a beautiful adult girl with a gentle heart and a loyal soul. She’s affectionate, loving, and enjoys being close to her people. One of her favorite things is relaxing on the couch for snuggles and belly rubs, making her a wonderful companion for cozy nights at home. She has a great balance of energy—Luna enjoys getting outside for fresh air, exploring, and splashing around in a kiddie pool, but she’s also perfectly happy being a couch potato. She has a funny, curious personality and loves being part of her family, whether that means going on adventures or just hanging out together. Luna is confident, intelligent, and deeply devoted to her people. She would thrive in a home that can offer love, companionship, and a stable routine. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a sweet, affectionate nature, Luna is ready to meet you and become part of your family Interested? Email us!
