You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sir Knight of the Squeaky Toy – Ready for Adoption! Hear ye, hear ye! Allow us to introduce Knight, a 1-year-old Schnauzer mix with the heart of a hero and the goofiness of a court jester. This handsome young lad may not come with armor, but he does carry toys around like prized treasures and is always ready for a grand adventure. Knight’s favorite royal duties include chasing toys, playing with his doggy friends, and then retiring to the castle (aka your couch) where he can transform into a professional lap dog. While he can be a little timid at first, once he knows you’re a friend and not a dragon, his sweet and loving personality shines brighter than a knight’s polished shield. This goofy boy would love a home with a yard where he can gallop around practicing his zoomies and defending the kingdom from suspicious squirrels. He’s fun, affectionate, and guaranteed to keep you smiling with his silly antics. If your castle is missing a loyal companion with a big heart and a love for toys, Knight is ready to ride into your life and claim his throne… preferably on your lap. &#226&#154&#148&#239&#184&#143 Adoption Fee: $400 Transport Available: Northeast & Midwest for $250 Apply to adopt your noble companion at: www.adoggie4you.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 6, 2026, 4:54 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Huxley came to us with his girlfriend Haven a couple of weeks after we took in their 2 baby girls.  Their owner left the country and a family member took them in.  Soon after they realized Haven was pregnant so they kept them until the puppies were ready for homes.  They couldn't keep them permanently because they already had dogs of their own.  So now it's Huxley's turn to find a permanent family that will make his next home his last home.   He's a nice boy and great size at 34 pounds.  Not too small and not too big.  He is house trained and been a nice guest in his foster home.  He was never crate trained and doesn't appreciate being in a crate, not for long anyways (he messed up a crate door to escape when he first arrived).  Update:  he is now crate trained and doing well there when he needs to be in it.   Over the time we've had him, we've tried to place him with different other dogs.  It doesn't seem that he's aggressive, but he is inappropriate with his interactions.  He pounces on this and mouths them and it's scary for the dog.  So we'd like him to be your one and only.  But he's easy to take walks in pubic too so it's not like he has to be isolated from dogs.  We've had him at several adoption events. We are requiring a securely fenced yard for this guy so he can safely explore his yard while out on potty breaks or hanging out with you outside.     Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 6, 2026, 2:36 pm
