🐈🐈‍⬛ Introducing adoptable Santiago and Peralta - we are accepting adoption applications. From the famous Langley trapping site come two graduates of the streets who have officially embraced indoor civilization. Santiago Six-month-old brown tabby gentleman. Initially shy. Observant. Taking notes. But once he decides you are trustworthy? Total love bug. Full-body leans. Soft purrs. Devotion unlocked. He simply prefers a calm environment while he warms up. Peralta Six-month-old black beauty with a touch of white and a whole lot of charm. Equally sweet, a little more socially confident, and always ready for wand toy athletics. Shared interests include: • Wand toys (dramatic leaps encouraged) • Cooked chicken breast (say the word and watch them appear) • Cozy naps • Quiet companionship Both were humanely trapped at the Langley mobile home site and have blossomed beautifully in care. They would thrive in a patient, loving home — ideally together — where their confidence can continue to grow. Because Santiago can be sensitive at first, they would do best in a calm home without young children, where their adjustment can happen at their own pace. They survived the outside. Now they’re ready for the inside — with chicken🍗 It is our practice to adopt kittens under the age of one in pairs. We would love to see these two adopted together. Macchiato is 10 years old and is a cross between a Siamese and a Tabby. He would do best in a quiet home without kids and other pets and with an experienced cat owner. Macchiato is an amazing cat who at one point was trained to use a human toilet, go for walks on a leash, and know how to do multiple tricks. Quite a few years ago, Macchiato had a bad experience at the vet and this triggered some behavioral issues. When scared, Macchiato would snarl and hiss and scratch us (but no biting) and we would have to lock him up in a separate room until he calmed down. These aggressive episodes used to be more common but they have not occurred in at least 3 years. Over the last 3 years, Macchiato has been living in a more isolated area of our home given that we now have 2 young children. He would need to be reintegrated into a new home but deserves more love and attention than we can give him right now. Thank you for your interest.
