Story
I named her Pounce because she was an explorer (Pounce de Lion) and leapt 3 feet high. She likes warmth and laps. She can be affectionate but on her terms. We have decided to travel more and we think it would be better to rehome than continually getting sitters. She has a sister but they do not like each other anymore so they don’t need to rehome together.

Squeaks has decided she doesn’t like her sister and is stressed out. She just had back teeth removed due to genetic disposition to decay, but doesn’t have any problem eating kibble or wet food. Her shots are up to date. She likes to go outside and has a leash. She also has a catio that she likes in nice weather. She likes lap time. About 8 years old.

Story
8 year old cat named Tigger loves to give hugs and purr loudly when you are feeling down. He has become very unhappy in our house due to the amount of cats and has started picking fights, he would do best in a house with 1 other cat and any amount of dogs that won’t chase him. He does have asthma that is under control with his inhaler that we can give. Willing to provide supplies and even a full bag of food to the right home.

Story
BO AND TINA ARE BONDED SIBLINGS AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER These two youngsters are a very bonded sibling pair who were originally adopted from us in 2020. Their folks are having to move and can’t take the kitties with them. These siblings have lived with a terrier-type dog, but haven’t spent any time with toddlers or children. Both are very sweet and loving. They have always had access to an enclosed catio. Brushing is a must for both of them. Occasionally they’ve been known to get the zoomies … tearing through the house (mostly at night). Sometmes this turns into a play fight. They have always slept together. At times they were contained to one room at night due to their busy and playful evening antics. We think their humans probably wanted some sleep! Bo is a very mellow lap cat. He purrs and likes to eat leisurely. He does talk a lot and loves his scratching post. Bo likes tummy rubs. Tina is a bit more aloof, and not a lap cat. She eats very quickly and will try to grab Bo’s food. We suggest that they be separated at feeding time, perhaps across the room from each other.Tina likes to scratch on the carpet / caat tree. She doesn’t like tummy rubs, but loves crackly things. She is very food motivated, and will scraatch at the kitchen cabinets for food.

Story
Fred is a gentle, affectionate senior who forms deep bonds once he feels safe and comfortable. At 13 years young, he’s a total lovebug—affectionate, gentle, and happiest when he’s close to his people. If you sit down, chances are Fred will be right there with you, soaking up attention and asking (politely but persistently) for a good brushing, which just happens to be one of his very favorite things. At first meeting, Fred can be a little shy and cautious with new people—but give him a bit of time, a calm voice, and some patience, and his loving personality begins to shine. Fred is also wonderfully chatty. He enjoys carrying on conversations, offering commentary on your day, and reminding you when it’s time for love, snacks, or more brushing. His sweet, expressive nature makes him a joy to be around. Fred must be adopted with his sister, Ginger, who has been his constant companion his entire life. The two came to The Cat’s Meow after their beloved owner passed away, and they are very bonded and comforting to one another. They have always been indoor-only cats and have known a quiet, loving home. Earlier in life, Fred and Ginger lived with a dog and would likely do well again with an older, calm, cat-friendly canine. They would thrive in a peaceful home where they can enjoy cozy naps, gentle routines, and plenty of affection. If you’re looking to open your heart to a devoted pair of seniors who have so much love left to give, Fred and Ginger may be the perfect match. ‍Looking for a name for your new cat or kitten? Story
Wilbur is a confident black-and-white shorthair with a curious spirit and a playful heart. Estimated to be around 1–2 years old, Wilbur is just as outgoing as his brother Theo and greets the world with enthusiasm and charm. He’s the kind of cat who likes to be right in the middle of things, whether that means supervising household activities or jumping into playtime. Wilbur is friendly, affectionate, and always ready for interaction. He loves to play, explore, and engage with his people, and he’s quick to make himself at home wherever he lands. His easygoing personality makes him a joy to be around, and he brings a wonderful balance of energy and sweetness to the household. Wilbur is deeply bonded to his brother Theo, and the two must be adopted together. They are a confident, fun-loving pair who truly thrive in each other’s company—playing, wrestling, exploring, and curling up together when the day winds down. Because of their confident personalities, Wilbur and Theo would likely do well in a home with an older, cat-friendly dog. They would thrive in a home that enjoys an active, engaging environment and appreciates the special bond of two happy, affectionate boys. If you’re looking for a bonded pair full of confidence, playfulness, and personality, Wilbur and Theo are ready to bring double the fun—and double the love—into your home. ‍Looking for a name for your new cat or kitten?
