Not good with kids, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This lovely and unique guy is looking for an experienced person to welcome him into his new forever home.Buddy Guy enjoys attention and affection, often expressing this through rubbing, purring, and actively soliciting attention. He loves to play with string and springy wand toys, will run after you up and down the stairs to play and chase toys, loves to scrabble through a tunnel, and climbs up to the top of the tall cat tree to nap. He also has amazing beside manners. Enjoying sleeping in the same room as you in his own bed and does not wake you up in the morning. He likes being picked up and carried around a bit as he is not much of a jumper. Loves to sit in a window that's open enough for him to smell the sights. We have recently learned from the foster that he is doing very well with harness training and has been practicing walking around the house with his harness and leash on. He is no enjoying going outside onto an cat proof patio so he can enjoy the outdoors safely. He is on medication for anxiety based behavioral issues and has shown improvement. He loves getting his medications daily in Churu. Any future medication adjustments should be discussed with the veterinarian to ensure the best fit for his well-being.Notably, Buddy Guy has shown positive progress in his behavior. He hasn't scratched in some time, and he is gradually becoming more comfortable sitting next to or on his human companions, displaying a sweet and affectionate side. He is learning to trust again. This little guy loves smelling people's breathIt's important to note that he may display certain cues, such as light scratching or biting when intentionally communicating he has had enough. Understanding and respecting these cues will contribute to positive interactions. While Buddy Guy has formed a strong connection with his foster, he would likely adapt and form connections with other individuals over time. Patience, consistency, and a loving environment will be key factors in his continued growth. In summary, Buddy Guy is a lovable and charming cat seeking a patient and understanding adopter who appreciates his unique personality. With the right environment and care, he has the potential to blossom into an even more affectionate and content companion. If you are looking for a feline friend with character and charm, consider welcoming Buddy Guy into your heart and home. Please submit an application online as he is currently in foster. Story
Meet Mavis, our one-eyed treasure with a heart as big as her purr. Despite her journey through medical challenges, she has shown nothing but courage, affection and an unbreakable spirit. Mavis arrived at VOKRA declawed, with a powderpuff tail and only one eye, and facing issues with her remaining eye. However, thanks to a successful surgery, she has retained her sight and is now thriving. She requires daily eye drops in her remaining eye for the rest of her life to keep her eye healthy. Mavis is a precious gem who adores cuddles and has a unique way of showing affection. Described as a " little cuddle bug," she will charm her way into your lap and heart, purring herself to sleep atop you. Despite occasional sneezing and nasal congestion due to her Persian heritage, which may need vet attention now and then, Mavis's loving nature remains unaffected. She seeks a forever home that understands her needs and offers endless love and cuddles in return. If you are looking for a companion who will fill your days with joy, love, laughter and a bit of quirkiness, Mavis is the perfect addition. Her resilience and affectionate personality make her a truly special cat waiting for a family to cherish her. Mavis should be in a home with no other pets and no small children. Experience the purest form of companionship with our beloved Mavis.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Mochi could be an NHL goalie with the way he can pounce on a treat coming towards him. Or, he could be an Olympic runner when you throw his favourite toy, even returning it so you can throw it again. He loves playing, even on his own, with these toys. He also enjoys bird watching. Mochi would be happy in a quiet, calm home with a single adult or couple. He is happy to adjust to his humans' routines. He sometimes demonstrates play aggression, so he would do best in an adult only, cat savvy home with people who are able to read and respond to his body language. Mochi would also like to be the only animal in the home. Given his history of living outside, Mochi sometimes shows an unhealthy interest in getting out, so he would be safest in a home with no direct access to the outdoors to ensure that he stays safely inside. He can't wait to meet you!
