Story
Cinnabun is a quiet girl who takes a bit of time to build trust. The wait is worth it though, because once she loves you, she's as sweet as can be! She's got the tiniest, cutest meow and loves a good scratch on the neck. She'd do best in a relaxed home with no young kids.

Story
I adopted this adorable cat from the Wake County Shelter in North Carolina. He is 4 years old and is both well-behaved and curious. He enjoys exploring new environments, but most of the time he stays indoors with me. I regularly give him deworming treatments, and last winter he received his latest vaccinations. He has also been neutered. He has a wonderful personality and gets along well with everyone, including other cats and dogs. He is happy to share his food and toys with other cats. I am moving and unfortunately cannot take him with me. I recently bought him a new cat tree, as well as some cat food and canned food, which can all go with him. I just hope to find a loving home where he will be treated with care and affection.

Story
Tennessee is an energetic 4-year-old cat who loves to play. He has a “hunt and pounce” play style and loves wand toys, as well as kicker toys and lightweight mice he can chase. He also enjoys window watching and will happily spend time taking in the view. He’s content to relax on the couch or hang out nearby. He previously had urinary crystals and is on a special diet to prevent them from returning. Tennessee is very food-motivated and can become anxious around food. During meal prep or when food is in your hand, he may try to grab it and can nip (he has not broken skin). He will do best with someone comfortable managing this behavior and maintaining clear mealtime boundaries. In the right home, Tennessee is a playful and engaging companion with lots of personality.

Story
HEARTWARMING RESCUE STORY DOB 8/26/22 Hey there, everyone! I'm Lollis, a very affectionate, delightful, playful “torbie” gal which means that I'm a brown tabby with patches of peach that makes me look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory. I can't get enough time to spend with Foster Meowmy, so I sleep with her and am always asking her for cuddles, especially when I don't have to compete with the resident cats for her attention. Although my independent, freedom-loving spirit has proven helpful in dealing “as needed” with the dogs, other cats, and kids in my foster home, my innate friskiness has made me a perfect companion for those same kids. I’ve been very bonded to Foster Meowmy ever since she spotted me at her jobsite as a seven-month-old stray kitten who had no momma or siblings in sight. Realizing that Foster Meowmy was my ticket to a life that was better than dumpster diving, I wasted no time and ran up to her. She scooped me up and drove home with me cuddled in her lap. Yes, our special connection began on that unforgettable journey. To this day, in those cherished moments when I need a little snuggle, it’s Foster Meowmy to whom I turn when I seek cuddling. I hope that my heartwarming rescue story has touched your heart. Yes, I chose Foster Meowmy, and now it's time for you to choose me to be your next feline companion. I want to become an integral part of your life and make every day an adventure worth sharing. Arrange to meet me today, and let's form a bond that's unbreakable! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your family heirlooms. HOPE ID 23-1014-A047 Lollis is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
SWEET MOMMA DOB 5/1/23 Ms Ethel is a sweet mittened torbie who, although she prefers not to be picked up, will come over to you for petting and snuggling. Ms Ethel is a stately kitty who is independent and can go hours on end without needing humans. She's simply a low-maintenance kind of gal. Ms Ethel was brought into HOPE when an elderly couple found her and her newborn babies in their backyard. Completely soaked and very hungry, the kitties needed immediate help. A foster stepped up and took in the forlorn family. Fast forward months later, and all the kitties have been adopted with only Momma left. Can Ms Ethel bring her sweet, undemanding ways to take the bite out of your being alone? Or bring some quiet companionship after your long, hectic day at the office? If so, arrange to meet her so you can give her some much-appreciated scratches and snuggles. Just because she’s independent of humans doesn’t mean that she doesn't have something to give others. In fact, she has so much love to give – all she needs is YOU! HOPE ID 24-0515-G124 Ms Ethel is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. PLEASE HELP TINKERBELL FIND THE PURRFECT HOME! Tinkerbell was surrendered by her elderly owner due to moving into a complex that does not accept pets. She is a very sweet, affectionate kitty who loves to sit in any available lap for attention, and purrs loudly! She is chatty, and will follow her favorite people around to talk and get attention. Tinkerbell is 18 years old, and has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies/FVRCP, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and has had a senior blood panel and dental cleaning. The blood panel indicated that she is in the early stages of renal failure, so she is eating canned food. Her adoption fee is $150.
