Story
Meet Jigsaw, one of the precious little tabbies of the Home Depot Litter, born on February 1, 2026, alongside her siblings Drill, Nut, Bolt, Hammer, and Crowbar. Their sweet mom, Mama Depot, who was found living outside of a Home Depot with her newborn babies and older kittens, Wrench and Ratchet, came to our rescue at the start of February just three days after giving birth. Mama Depot did an incredible job raising her little family over the past couple months and now that her kittens are weaned, Jigsaw and her siblings are ready to find furever homes of their own. This adorable tabby has all the wonderful kitten qualities you could ask for — she is sweet, playful, curious, and full of fun. Jigsaw loves spending her days chasing toys, wrestling with her siblings, and exploring everything around her. She has a happy, outgoing personality and always wants to be part of the action. After a busy day of play, Jigsaw is more than happy to slow down and enjoy some cuddles and attention. She is a loving little girl who will bring lots of joy, laughter, and companionship to her future family. Jigsaw gets along wonderfully with other cats and must be adopted with one of her littermates or go to a home that already has another playful kitty. She would also do great in a family with children as she's so friendly with everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a kitten who is as sweet as she is playful, Jigsaw is ready to piece her way right into your heart! Her adoption fee is $275 and Jigsaw has received her first distemper vaccine, is FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and will be spayed when of age. If you're interested in this sweet girl, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Salty, a three-month-old tabby who made his way to Connecticut all the way from Barbados, bringing a little bit of island charm with him! His name is inspired by the salty ocean air he came from—and it suits him perfectly. While he may be a bit shy at first, Salty has truly blossomed into such a sweet and loving kitten. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll happily curl up in bed with you, making himself right at home as your snuggly little companion. Salty is also full of playful kitten energy! He enjoys batting around toys, climbing his cat tower, and spending time gazing out the window, taking in the world around him. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and truly thrives with feline companionship. Because of this, Salty must go to a home with another kitty friend—or, even better, be adopted with his foster buddy Ringo so they can continue their adorable friendship. He’ll make a purrfect addition to any home! His adoption fee is $275 and Salty is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered. Story
Meet Jellybean, an 8-month-old calico/tabby mix with the most stunning, one-of-a-kind coat and piercing golden eyes that will stop you in your tracks. This local stray turned sweetheart has quickly shown that she’s ready to leave her past behind and soak up all the love of a furever home. She's currently residing at our partner, the Happy Cat Hotel in Norwalk. True to her name, Jellybean is a total jumping bean—wherever you go, she’s right there with you! Kitchen? She’s your sous chef. Couch? Your cuddle buddy. Bathroom? Your loyal supervisor. Bed? Don’t worry, she’s already claimed her spot and will happily sleep beside you every night. She thrives on companionship and will be your constant little shadow, never missing a moment to be by your side. Jellybean is the ultimate velcro cat. She sticks to you like glue and loves being as close to her people as possible—you may have to gently peel her off of you! She’ll happily climb right into your lap, onto your chest, or even perch herself on your shoulders so she can be part of whatever you’re doing. If you sit down, expect Jellybean to be there in seconds. She is incredibly affectionate, loving, and outgoing, with a playful kitten spirit that shines through in everything she does. Jellybean thinks absolutely everything is a toy and can turn even the smallest object into the best game ever. She’s curious, silly, and always ready for fun, whether she’s chasing a crinkly ball, batting at a string, or investigating whatever you happen to be holding. She absolutely lives for attention and interaction, and her big personality is guaranteed to keep you smiling. Jellybean was previously living in a foster home with other cats but doesn’t seem to be a big fan, so she’d be happiest as your one and only—as long as she gets plenty of love, attention, and time with her favorite people. If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful, devoted little sidekick who will follow you everywhere and love you endlessly, Jellybean is your girl! Her adoption fee is $275 and Jellybean is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped (to be inserted at your vet), and spayed. If you're interested in this sweet girl, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Good with cats,
Story
Meet Inferno, a one-year-old tabby with a gorgeous striped coat and the most stunning green eyes. She is also the last remaining member of our Fire Litter still waiting for her furever home. Just days before Christmas, Inferno and seven other cats survived a devastating house fire in Ansonia. After the home was deemed unsafe, they were left behind to fend for themselves in a crumbling house surrounded by ash and rubble until help finally arrived. Despite everything she went through, Inferno has shown incredible resilience. Inferno has a quiet sweetness that makes her truly special. She is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place, so she’ll need a patient home willing to give her the time and understanding she deserves. Once she feels comfortable, her gentle personality shines—she especially loves soft pets and calm affection. She can also be quite vocal and isn’t afraid to chat with you when she wants attention or to let you know what’s on her mind. This little queen also has a funny, adorable habit: she loves drinking straight from the faucet like the pampered royalty she is! When she’s feeling playful, she enjoys spending time with the kittens in her foster home, so she would love to find a family with another young kitty friend. She is currently at the Purrfect Lounge in Plainville, a cat lounge where guests can visit and play with the cats. All meet & greets for Inferno will take place there, giving you a chance to see her sweet personality in action! Book your visit at https://www.purrfect-lounge.com. Her adoption fee is $250 ($200 goes to the rescue, $50 to the lounge) and Inferno is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this sweet girl, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Good with cats,
Story
QUITE THE ROARING PURR MACHINE DOB 4/13/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Jupiter, an extremely playful, energetic, and affectionate orange tabby fella who also cherishes cuddle time with Foster Meowmy. I’m happy to be held in her arms like a baby with my tummy up so she can embellish me with nose kisses. I’m sometimes jealous when I see her giving attention to one of my siblings, so I’ll run up to her to get my share. I’m a certified purr factory because I turn on my purr motor frequently and very loudly, often to announce my arrival. After my feral momma birthed Karma, Pluto, Opal, and me outside of Foster Meowmy’s house, Momma moved us through an open window to inside a neighbor’s car . . . and then again a few doors down to a used-car business. Imagine Foster Meowmy’s surprise when she looked inside an old car and found not only us under the driver’s seat but also another litter of four kittens under the passenger’s seat!! When we were five weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy gathered up both of our stowaway litters and brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home. You can imagine the mayhem that eight kittens can wreak inside our foster room! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle until they’re exhausted but I’m not. So I go on to play with the resident two-year-old cat for long periods of time, followed finally by some good rest on the top “canopy” of the six-foot cat tree. Up there as I lounge, I’m fascinated with bird-watching through the window, and I don’t even mind if one of my siblings decides to join me in my favorite spot. Now I’m ready to bring my affectionate nature, roaring purr motor, and playful stamina to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! If you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting me with one of the other #car-stowaways. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted as a pair so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 25-0614-A044 Jupiter is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
