Story
I found her near a dumpster at a gas station. I fed her for about a week, and she let me get close enough. Eventually, I picked her up and took her to the vet to check for a microchip. After confirming she wasn’t microchipped, I brought her home. I tried introducing her to my cats, but I’m the only one who can safely interact with them. I also care for my grandfather, so it’s been a bit challenging. She’s been to the vet a couple of times—first for ear mites and later because she has a healed broken foot that they said couldn’t be fixed. She eats dry food but loves wet food. She’s a very playful kitty who enjoys cuddles, though it takes her some time to trust people. this is one of my last resorts. I have been trying to get in contact with sanctuaries rescues shelters. I want something that is good enough for her and that she will be comfortable with and I just want her to have a happy life.

Remi was rescued. We have had her for about 10 years. Our child has developed an allergy to pet dander and we can no longer keep her. She is a calm lap cat and is mostly indoors but likes the patio. Friendly with other cats and dogs. Front claws are declawed as well.

Story
George came to us as a tiny little guy, all alone, and he liked it that way! He kept himself quite entertained. Soon, however, he made lots of friends, including George and Silas. These days, George roams around the Sanctuary playing and cuddling with most everyone! He can be a bit shy at first, but he warms up nicely once he realizes you are not going to hurt him. Story
Goldie's mom was a Silver Tabby Maine Coon, but a bit on the smaller side. That trait didn't reveal itself in Goldie, tho! She's a very large girl! Goldie is so gentle; when she wants attention, she ever-so-calmly paws her foster mom's nose or arm. Goldie, her mom and siblings were rescued from the streets a few days after the kittens were born. Goldie can be a little shy, but she will come around if you approach her calmly and slowly so she knows she's safe. Once she trusts, she trusts with her whole heart. This girl is a total couch potato, especially if the couch is in the sun! She does like to sit NEXT to her foster mom, not ON her lap; She loves to curl up in the crook of mom's arm to go to sleep for the night. Goldie has the most unusual coat - there's a lot of gold fur mixed in with the various browns. Her coat is very plush and does require regular combing. Goldie doesn't like to be brushed or have her claws trimmed, but with the appropriate treats and sweet-talk, she can be persuaded. She's seen here with her kitty friend, Hart, and cat-loving doggie, TyTy. Sadly, Hart AND TyTy left for the Rainbow Bridge. Goldie hasn't warmed up to our new dog, despite his attempts at gentle persuasion. While she hasn't been partial to any of the other cats aside from Tasha, she gets along just fine with all of them. She will groom any random cat that passes before her. DOB: 4/18/18 Characteristics Affectionate, Dignified, Friendly, Gentle, Independent, Quiet, Smart, Couch potato, Loves kisses, Sweet, Bonded With Tasha, Playful
