Story
The previous owner moved out, leaving 6 cats behind as an intentional burden. They are getting fed and cleaned up after, but 6 is a lot of cats to take care of. These are not ferals or even outdoor cats, they are indoor cats and need individual attention. I can't even tell the orange ones apart, so I just call them all Toonses. Rather then make a separate listing for each, I'm making one listing for the 5 boys. They are not a set and I will not entertain requests to take all 5. They each deserve to go to a home where they will be loved and get all the attention. The fee is negotiable and is just to recover costs. For reasons unknown, the previous owner tried to shave them. The cats didn't think this was a good idea and only two of them got partially shaved. They don't have fleas, they aren't sick. Fur grows back. Please bring your own carrier. If you have kids at home, please bring them along. The cats haven't been around children before, so we don't know how they'll behave.

Story
George came to us as a tiny little guy, all alone, and he liked it that way! He kept himself quite entertained. Soon, however, he made lots of friends, including George and Silas. These days, George roams around the Sanctuary playing and cuddling with most everyone! He can be a bit shy at first, but he warms up nicely once he realizes you are not going to hurt him. Story
Hello, world! Meet our newest little siblings, Tyler and his sister, McKinley. (DOB: 5/27/25 or so) How'd they get here? Our friend and rescue partner, Ruth of Tip My Ear, answered a knock on her door and there they were, in the arms of neighborhood kids. Of course, she took them in and called us right away, as she had nowhere to put them. They are precious. They are smart. They are purry. They are brave. They are hilarious to watch. DOB: 5/27/25

Story
Sammy is "special needs" as he needs a seasoned human, who is willing to patiently work with him to bring him out of his shell. He really doesn't know if he can trust humans, because he was abandoned out in the cold, cruel world, and he was being beaten up by other strays. We don't know anything else about his history. A good Samaritan saw what was happening to him, phoned us requesting we take him in, and we said, "Bring him!" Sammy was quite shy for the first few weeks at the Sanctuary. When he was ready, we opened his condo door so he could come out and join the others. However, he stayed in the open crate for days! Eventually, his curiosity got the better of him, and Sammy ventured out into the "kitten room," where he allowed us to approach and pet him. He's a very quiet, sweet boy. As for children, he'd be much more comfortable with a very gentle, older child. He seeks comfort with several of our other cats, especially Archie, who makes up in love-seeking what Sammy currently lacks. DOB: 3/1/22 Friendly, Gentle, Curious, Independent, Quiet DOB: 3/1/2022

Story
Pixar is one of the sweetest cats I’ve ever met. I am by no means a cat person but I would have many more cats if they were all like him. He has a huge personality and loves to be near his person, he talks to you and lets you know what he wants lol. He has never had an accident and only uses the litter box. He is a tripod kitty and is missing one hind leg. I got him from the shelter a year and a half ago, almost 2, and I don’t regret it at all. He makes me laugh and is such a sweet cat. I unfortunately have two dogs that are just not good with him. One of them just recently attacked a small dog, and occasionally is caught chasing Pixar, the other has a history of harming cats. I refuse to rehome the dogs, as one is my heart dog and the other would surely be put down. That leaves me to find my kitty a home. Perfect home is a MUST! I will be picky. We are making it work for now and will continue until we find his perfect person. Thank you for reading❤️
