Story
My husband and I are looking for a loving family to rehome our cat. Her name is Pye and she is a foster cat who I’ve had for about 2 years. Recently she has been incredibly anxious and with my husband and I welcoming a new baby in the next few weeks, I want to ensure that she is able to receive the love and care she deserves. She is the most cuddly cat I have ever met. We currently have 2 dogs which I believe has added to her anxiety. She would be best in a home with no dogs, however she has grown up around other cats and loves them! This has been an incredibly hard decision for our family, but I want Pye to have the best life possible.

Story
Beautiful 9ish year old loving Kitty seeking a kind and healthy place to retire!Pearl came to our family after spending 3 months in SCRAPS in 2020. She was very shy around people, needed lots of attention, and never left my side. She has since came out of her shell, become more independent, and absolutely loves all of the love! Once she knows you, she is your best friend. She loves kids, but please be gentle and listen to the tail. Gets along well with other kitties (if they are nice). Please no dogs.We have come to a season where we do not have the capacity to give her the love and care she deserves. She needs a home that can provide just that.Pearl is vibrant and has no known health issues. She is due for vaccines and a yearly vet visit. She is microchipped.Rehoming fee waived. She can come with her bed if needed for a smoother transition. The only special needs she currently has is a maintained cat box and a sensitive stomach. Her food is not expensive.Tell us about you!

Story
MEET LOUIE AND LESTER! Life was perilous for these green-eyed brothers, born to a cat who had been abandoned at a trailer park. Thankfully, residents Jeremy and Meagan took it upon themselves to help trap the strays that were piling up in the park. Their happy ending will come when their very own family comes to take them home! Louie, who has more white, and Lester are about a year and a half old. They've been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and are very good boys with their litter box. They get along great with other cats, preferring to avoid any drama at the shelter. If there's any trouble, they're never the instigators! Unfortunately, their ears were tipped when they went to the clinic to be neutered. They had just been trapped, and we weren't sure at that point if they'd be adoptable. Happily, they decided our intentions were honorable after all, once they spent some time decompressing in the bathroom where they couldn't avoid out attentions. Because of their difficult start in life, they are a bit shy with new people and will need some time and understanding while they adjust to their new home; something they've never had before. A calm adult home or one with older kids would probably be the best fit for them. These sweet, lovable boys will reward you many times over for your efforts! If you're the person this band of brothers has been waiting for all their lives, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. The $80 adoption fee for the pair will make these handsome devils yours, all yours!

Story
INTRODUCING CARMEN! This little girl had the hardest start in life. She was found in a filthy rabbit cage with her brother in a basement by Darcie, one of our wonderful volunteers. After Darcie rescued her from that hellhole, the pair received a second stoke of good fortune when Jessica, our foster in Hayden, took them both under her wing. Her brother, Santiago, has already been adopted to a loving home, and now it's Carmen's turn to find her forever family! Carmen is about 2 1/2 months old, she's been spayed, wormed, had her first kitten shots and is a good girl with her litter box. She's being fostered with dogs, other cats and a baby, and gets along great with everyone. Quite petite, perhaps because of her difficult start in life, she'll probably always be on the small side. That doesn't slow her down one bit, she can definitely hold her own during rambunctious kitty high jinx with her fellow foster kittens, preferring wrestling to acrobatics. Very friendly and outgoing, she's a sweetie pie who loves to snuggle and always wants to be wherever her beloved humans are. Oh, and she thinks she's a parrot and likes sitting on shoulders. The better to be near you and also get a great view of her amazing new world! Carmen would love to have a kitty buddy or 2 in her new home to play and snuggle with, if possible. If you don't happen to have any resident felines, we're sure we could fix you up with a good buddy for her from the kitten palooza we have, who are also waiting for their loving homes. To meet this delightful little girl, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. For her $85 adoption fee (or $160 if you adopt 2 kittens) you'll have lots of great reasons to wake up with a smile for many years to come!

Story
YOU'RE GONNA LOVE ULYSSES! Ulysses, a very friendly, talkative fellow, has been trying to tell us all about the Odyssey he'd been on before coming to our shelter. Unfortunately, he doesn't speak English and we're not entirely proficient in Cat. Suffice to say it was quite an ordeal and he's very glad it's over. He'll be the happiest boy in the whole wide world when he finally finds the forever home he's been searching for! We think Ulysses is about 2 years old. He's been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and is a very good boy with his litter box. Are there words enough to tell you how wonderful he is? Perhaps not, but we shall try. Most cats coming into the shelter take some time to adjust and get integrated into the herd. If you've ever had to start school in the middle of the year, you'll know just how they feel. As soon as Ulysses had recovered sufficiently from his neutering surgery, he marched out of his cage to explore his interesting new world. Being a bigger guy, the other cats took umbrage to his presence for the first day or two, and several growled and smacked at him. Did this deter him from investigating his new digs? Not in the least! He walked through the fray like a world traveler who's seen it all, unphased by their less than welcoming behavior. Ulysses gets along great with anyone and anything. People are his most favorite species, though it's questionable whether we deserve that honor, especially considering what happened to him in his former life. He loves being picked up, petted and hugged so the more quality time he can spend with his special humans, the happier our adventurer will be. To give this charming fellow a safe place by the fire and in your heart forever, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. For his $60 adoption fee, Ulysses will happily curl up in your lap and be the best buddy you've ever had!
