Story
Wren is a beautiful, sweet girl who was rescued off the streets of Philly and was going to have to go back out there because the other rescue could not keep her. I saw how young (8 weeks at the time) she was and knew she could not go back out there, so we took her in. She is spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. She is very sweet but will be shy at first until she gets to know you but then will purr up a storm when she is head booped and pet!

Story
Meet Mr Brody! He was living outside of an apartment complex and was definitely someone's pet but apparently was thrown out or abandoned. He is a very handsome boy and very sweet but would be best as an only child. He has been neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and AIDS. If interested in him or any of our Castaway cats, please fill out our application at Castaway catsde.com

Story
CG-short for Crazy Girl is a very sweet and playful kitten who was born outside to a stray cat whose owners moved out and left them behind. Her mom Sparrow (also up for adoption) and her older brother Charlie (also available for adoption) were living outside of someone's townhouse when they moved in and the landlord did not want them there so she called us. She also posted in a local internet post and by the time I got there 3 out of 4 kittens were gone except for CJ. She was still nursing so we took her home along with mom and brother and got them all vetted. (Spayed or neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies ,flea and worm treated and tested for feline leukemia and FIV (both negative)) Now they are all up for adoption either separate or together! CJ is called Crazy Girl because she has A LOT of energy and plays kind of rough, so she would not be a good match for someone with small children or a first-time pet owner. If interested in her or any of our castaway cats, please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com

Story
Athena was abandoned by humans when they moved away and gave birth outside on the street during the Wilmington Greek Festival. She was found and brought inside the day after she gave birth so she could safely care for her five babies. She has been an attentive mother and has done a great job raising her kittens, but now she is looking for a comfortable, loving forever home! Athena loves getting pets and being the center of attention. She is a lap cat who would love nothing better than to sit around with you watching Netflix all day! She also loves catnip toys. She has been spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV (aids) Athena is fine with other cats but does not like dogs. If you might be interested in Athena or any of our castaway cats, please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com

Story
Wilson is a very sweet, gentle boy who was abandoned by his owners when they moved out :( Poor boy was found cowering behind a building across the street from our fosters, sneaking over to try to get some food they put out for some strays in the area. They saw how scared and hungry he was and befriended him to come closer so they could bring him inside. He is now inside, safe and warm and very happy and has been neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. He is very playful and is fine with other cats and ok with their dogs (still not sure yet). If you are interested in Wilson or any of our Castaway Cats, please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com

Story
Snoop is an incredibly sweet cat that loves to give kisses all day long! Unfortunately, I no longer can care for him but would love to find him a good home. His favorite thing to do is play; he will chase a string toy for hours if you let him! I think a home with other cats would be great for him especially, but not necessary. He does have some special needs, as he has had respiratory problems since he was a kitten. Because of this, he sneezes often, but as long as you wipe his eyes daily and add lysine or probiotics to his food, it can be controlled!
