Story
Meet Auggie! Auggie is a healthy, one-year-old neutered male who is playful, affectionate, and wonderful with kids. He loves springs, getting pets, and spending time with his people. Auggie has occasional litter box issues (about once a week). He has been evaluated by a veterinarian and a feline behaviorist, who believe the behavior is stress-related and possibly linked to sharing a home with our other male cat. We believe he may do best in a calm home, possibly as the only cat or only male cat. This has been an incredibly difficult decision because we love Auggie. We simply want to find the home where he can be happiest and thrive. We’re happy to answer questions and share everything we’ve learned to help make him successful.

Story
Meet Milo — A Street Survivor with a Big Heart Brown Tabby | ~4 Years Old | Detroit, MI Milo spent his early years navigating the streets of Detroit as part of a stray colony — living by his wits, weathering Michigan winters, and fending for himself every single day. Now, this resilient brown tabby boy is ready to trade colony life for a cozy couch and someone to call his own. At around 4 years old, Milo is still adjusting to the sights, sounds, and comforts of indoor living. He's learning that hands mean kindness, that warm spots are for napping, and that love is something he gets to keep. He just needs a little patience while he figures it all out. Milo is FIV positive, which means he'll thrive best as the only cat in the home, or alongside another FIV+ kitty. FIV cats live long, happy, healthy lives with the right care — and Milo is ready to prove it. 💛 The perfect home for Milo looks like: A quiet household with no other cats (or a FIV+ feline friend) A patient adopter who understands he may need time to warm up Someone who finds joy in watching a guarded heart slowly open If you're looking for a cat who will make you earn that first purr — and make it mean everything when you do — Milo is your guy. Give this Detroit boy the second chance he deserves. 🐾

Story
Meet Charles (Dickens)! I do TNR (trap-neuter-return) of outdoor cats and caught them and their mama at the end of July. The kittens were just big enough to be neutered and given a 1-year Rabies shot, flea/tick treatment, and dewormer, and were so sweet and little that I couldn't bear to release them back outside. He and his brother got their left ear clipped to indicate that they've been neutered and I think it gives them some character :) Charles has warmed up to me and other people so well - he and his brother Tiny Tim love being held and chin/ear scratches. He's also so playful and loves bits of string and batting at a feather on the end of a wand. He and Tiny Tim would love to be adopted together, but could also be adopted separately if there are other cats in the home for him to play with. He and Tiny Tim do need to be tested for FIV/FeLV and given that vaccination, which I may do myself soon.

Meet Tiny Tim! He was the runt of the litter but is now catching up to his brother Charles! I do TNR (trap-neuter-return) of outdoor cats and caught them and their mama at the end of July. He and his brother got their left ear clipped to indicate that they've been neutered and I think it gives them some character :) Tiny Tim was the first of the bunch to purr when I came in the room to feed them, and he loves being held and chin/ear scratches. He's also so playful and loves bits of string and batting at a feather on the end of a wand. Story
Poppi is a beautiful adult cat with a sweet, affectionate personality once she feels comfortable. She would thrive in a home where she can be the only cat, as she does not get along well with other cats. She can tolerate small dogs that respect her space. Because she prefers a calmer environment, Poppi would do best in a home with older children rather than young kids. She enjoys having her own space but also loves attention and companionship on her own terms. We’re looking for a loving, patient family who understands cats and can give Poppi the peaceful home she deserves. This decision hasn’t been easy, but our goal is to find the best possible fit where she can be happy and comfortable.
