Simba is an 8-year-old male with an orange coat, and an endearing cranky old-man personality. He is fairly social, greets both family members and guests and enjoys sitting nearby and observing activity. He enjoys snuggling and lounging with his favorite humans.

Story
Haze is a sweet almost 7 year old cat. We recently moved and a few of our new family members are extremely allergic to cats so I am looking for a new home for him. I think he would be great for a single person or couples. He is good with children but never was around them much. He loves to be up under you and gives snuggles and he loves to play tag. He is a sucker for treats and the red laser beam. He would be a great addition to your family.

Story
Hello?! Is this thing even on?! Can anybody hear me??? What does a cat have to do around here to find a forever home? I'm a good boy, I know I am! So I simply cannot understand why nobody wants to let me be their best buddy forever. I'm just going to lay it all out here for you guys and maybe my forever person will see this. 😺 My name is Rizz, and I am a 1-year-old male cat! I was found scrounging in a dumpster for my next meal until this nice lady scooped me up and promised me I would never have to do that again. I am loving the indoor life! 🥳 I am the life of the party. I've never met a stranger and everybody is my friend. I will be the official butler of your home and greet every new person that comes by with the utmost enthusiasm. I don't know the meaning of "scared" or "hide." They're simply not in my vocabulary. 🤾‍♀️ Playtime is the BEST time. I am a super active guy who could chase springs and get into catnip all day long. I would love an active household that could dedicate playtime to me every day. I would especially love and get along well with children! 🚽 I'm fully litterbox trained and always use my litterboxes like the very very good boy I am. 🚪 I despise closed doors. If you think you will be getting any privacy when you bring me home, boy are you wrong. I refuse to be separated from whatever you are doing, I just love you so much! 💕 I'm all love, all the time. You want to rot on the couch together all day long and binge Netflix? Count me in. Cuddles in bed? Yep, I'm there. If you have a pulse (or honestly even if you don't), I'll be snuggling on your lap. 🥞 Food? I'm about that. Remember that I lived out of a dumpster and never knew where my next meal was coming from for the first half of my life. If I see food, I will eat it. Even if it's already making a beeline for your own mouth. This also means that I'm highly food motivated and trainable! 🚫 Other animals? Nope. I'm not sharing you. I'm a one cat island and won't tolerate you splitting your attention on other animals. Plus I'm the whole package, I'm all you need anyway! All in all I am an uber-outgoing, all human social, energetic and loving cuddlebug. If you just want a best friend, that's me! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $110. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance. LOCATION: Oakland County, Michigan Adoption and Foster Care ApplicationComplete this form and a volunteer will contact you to answer questions and to schedule a meet-n-greet. Shop our Amazon Wish List to gift us supplies we need and have them shipped directly to us.. NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label. Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
