Beans has the most amazing personality, she is gentle, demure, always purring the minute you pet her. If only we could keep them all, this girl would be staying, but we need to keep saving more lives, so soneone is going to be very lucky to adopt this beautiful soul. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for fiv & leukemia, fecal tested negative. She was bitten hy an infected mosquito and she tested positive for heartworm antigen, so she has received top of the line treatment, and she is done with the hard part. Now she just needs a flea treatment applied to the back of her ne k for 8 more months so she can ho forward and live a healthy life. We are going to provide that medication and send it home with her. They have two sisters Lyric and Harmony and their Mother Deja had quite a time keeping them safe, fed and protected, read her bio for their story. But she was a excellent mother and they have an amazing foster who risked life and limb to save them. These two boys are happy, healthy in the best way and are ready for a home of their own. Cats are like potato chips, you can't have just one, and bonded siblings are the only way to go when given the opportunity. We are looking for INDOOR ONLY homes for our kitties and non smoking households. If there are chiildren in the home they should be at least eight years old. Deja had a rough start in Detroit. She's a sweet tabby and friendly to people pretty quickly. She's great company for a companion. She was a stray, obviously someone's kitty at one time, very pregnant. Luckily someone was feeding her and watching over her. But she ended up having her babies outside and the person feeding her couldn't bring her inside because she was living in someone's apartment, not her own. Deja went through rain storms outside with her tiny babies and stayed right on the porch where she knew she could at least get food. The porch was cement and the babies fell into a slot under the porch so they were un reachable. Our foster was determined to get them out and she went back many times with a sledge hammer and tools to get them out. Finally on her fourth try, after getting all scratched up and almost breaking her arm, she was able to get them. Deja was happy now to be safe inside with her babies who are all healthy and also ready soon for homes of their own. We are looking for a non smoking home for Deja, she's okay as a only kitty or might get along with another maybe male kitty or a cat friendly dog. Cali is approximately 7 years old and we adopted her from a rescue in St Petersburg Florida, she moved with us up to Michigan from multiple apartments and eventually our house.She is very affectionate with the person she chooses in the home, and has potential to be affectionate to everyone in the household, but unfortunately my wife is allergic to cats so we never really found out. She was very protective of me though however. Sits by the bathroom doors, follows me to each room and genuinely loves love.She is skittish, and tends to hide most of the time when people visit. If you approach her too casually, she has bitten people in the past and generally hates carriers in the past. She is a 1 person cat in our experience and is generally low maintenance but does demand the attention of her "favorite."With the birth of our son, and my attention diverted, she isn't receiving that same level of attention she needs and has been doing subtle things like chewing bottle nipples and pump parts.
