We adopted Thistle from the shelter and found him to be very good with our dog. He is cuddly and playful, but can be a bit too playful and attack toes on occasion.He is very food-motivated and loves seafood. Thistle meows immediately after eating almost every time. He was found outside before he went to the shelter, but he is quite satisfied to stay indoors now. He is not declawed and is likely to be a good mouser. He is fixed. We previously had a male cat that sprayed, and unfortunately, Thistle found that spot and has started spraying there. He may do well in a home that has not had this issue in the past.

He is super lovey and desires lots of affection. I rescued him along with his brother and sister last year when they were about 5 weeks old. He is the main reason I decided to keep the 3 despite having other cats already. I loved his cuddles and hate to have to get rid of him. With that being said, he has formed a gang with his sister and they have escalated to actively seeking out my only other female cat and attacking her. I think this is just because of his bond with his sister and she doesn't like our other female cat. I highly recommend him and his sister be adopted together because they are so bonded. He does well with my other male cats. So unsure if not adopted with his sister whether he would do well with another female. He definitely should not go to a home where he is the only cat. He needs another affectionate cat, he if anything drives some of my other cats crazy with his affection. He is still pretty skittish, doesn't like loud noises like trucks.

I rescued her and her two brothers last year. We decided to try and keep them despite already having multiple cats. She is very cuddly and affectionate, loves to sleep with you. She is a beautiful diluted torbie (tortoiseshell coloring with tabby striping). She never did great with my only other female cat, but despite using calming collars and diffusers she has escalated along with one of her brothers to actively seeking out and attacking her. Because she is only just turned a year old in August and we have had our other female cat for years we have decided it's best to rehome her and her brother. We recommend she does not go to another home with a female cat. She does well with boy cats and older children/adults. Though she is still fairly skittish of loud noises and too many people. I'm not sure she would do well with younger children. She has a large lumpy scar on her abdomen from a wound she had when I found her.

These sisters were adopted from a neighbor who had a litter of kittens they were trying to find homes for. Just one year old, they're friendly and playful. They are very patient and tolerant with young kids, but will gently let you know when they're over-stimulated and need some space. Nutmeg is more vocal than Shake and the first to greet you, but when Shake gets comfortable, she will quietly come asking for attention. They will thrive in a home where they are played with and given plenty of attention. We are willing to contribute some funds to get them spayed.
