Story
Mayo (mayonesa) is a sweet, cuddly cat! Unfortunately we need to find a new home for her because our older cat is being a bit aggressive toward her. Mayo's behavior is perfectly fine and she gets into no trouble. Unfortunately we are choosing to let her go because we have had our older cat for years longer and he would be more difficult to re-home. She has grown up in our house with dogs, another cat and children. Though she can take a bit of time to get comfortable, once she's confident she is quite the cuddler. She has no behavioral issues, gets along well with our dogs, often rubbing up on them for some attention. She loves to cuddle!

Story
Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com . If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~* *

Story
Mett Flory! Flory was born to an abandoned mom cat in August 2024. This quiet, brown tabby female is friendly with trusted folks, avoidant of strangers, and is affectionate on her terms. She watches for you at the window, greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and follows you. At this stage she doesn’t want to be held or stay in your lap. She enjoys brushing and likes to sit in front of you, watching you. She is treat motivated, Flory plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She has met kids and finds them too busy and active, so she hides. Flory would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. She needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Story
Meet Faith! This mellow, gray female young tabby tolerates being held upright for a short while. Faith is friendly with trusted folks, shy of strangers and is affectionate on her terms. Faith was born to a stray mom cat in August 2024 and she received no medical care for an eye infection, which claimed one eye. She watches for you at the window, and purrs on contact. She prefers to sit next to you. Faith plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She hasn’t met kids, but if they are patient, calm and kind, she should be fine. She would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. Story
Stormy is an easy-going, confident, orange tabby male with white undersides and socks, who was born in March 2025. He gets along with the foster’s active dog and both male and female cats. Stormy is friendly with strangers. He face rubs, head butts, and ankle rubs. He is quiet, gives kitty kisses, and is kitten-active. Stormy is okay being picked up and carried. When you sit, he jumps into your lap or lets you place him there. Stormy stays for short periods of brushing or petting. Then he is off to play with cat toys or watch wildlife out the window. He follows you around the house wanting to sit near you. Stormy hasn’t met children, but if they are gentle and respectful he should do fine. He enjoys playing with interactive wand toys, also. He was found with an injured leg and was unclaimed. He uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Story
Meet Arthur 🐾 Arthur is a 12 year old rescue cat with a curious spirit and a wonderfully independent personality. Unlike many cats, Arthur is not the type to disappear under the bed when guests come over. He likes to know what’s going on and is usually nearby to investigate new people, sounds, or activity around the house. He’s an indoor-only cat who has been healthy throughout his life with no known medical issues. Arthur enjoys affection on his own terms and loves being close to his people when he’s feeling cuddly, but he’s also perfectly content doing his own thing and lounging independently nearby. Arthur would thrive in a calm home without dogs. He has never lived with other cats, so ideally he would do best as the only pet where he can comfortably settle into his routines and have his own space. He’s a sweet, steady companion looking for a peaceful home and someone who will appreciate his quiet charm, curiosity, and companionship.

Story
Location: Maple Grove, MN Hello, I'm Angel! I'm sure you can see why-just look at my beautiful white fur! I'm a 12-year-old senior kitty with a heart full of love to give. I may not hear as well as I used to (I am deaf) so it can take me a little time to feel safe and comfortable in new surroundings. But once I do, I'll shower you with the loudest purrs, sweet nuzzles, and endless cuddles. I also enjoy curling up in a cozy spot by the window, watching the birds, and basking in the sunshine. But don't let my age fool you-I still have plenty of playful energy, especially when a feather toy is involved! I'd thrive in a calm, peaceful and patient home where I can get all the love and attention I deserve. I'm good with older children and would be happiest as the only pet. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Columbia Heights, MN Stick Stickly, affectionately nicknamed “Sprout” by her foster mom, is becoming sweeter each and every day. She’s still getting used to being around humans, but once she warms up to you, she has a lot of love to give. Sprout enjoys pets and is learning how to ask for them—and when you find just the right spot, she might purr so hard she starts to drool! Her favorite toys include springs and ball-in-track toys, which keep her happily entertained. Sprout is curious about the resident cat, though she prefers limited interaction beyond a few sniffs, and she’s respectful about keeping her distance from the dog. Her absolute favorite activity is cuddling with her sister. Because of this, her foster mom believes Sprout would do best if adopted together with her sister, or into a home that already has another friendly cat. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
