Story
Tippy was adopted from the Humane Society in July 2025 and is 7 years old. She is a very sweet and gentle cat. She dislikes being held and having her belly rubbed, but she will immediately crawl into your lap for pets and snuggles the second you sit down. She loves to play, has a lot of energy, and is super funny when she gets the zoomies. She is great with small kids but does not get along with dogs. Unfortunately we were not told about her dental needs upon adoption and we are not in a good financial place to pay for a dental trip at the moment, but she is in dire need of having at least one tooth removed and a cleaning. Tippy has a problem with leaking urine while she sleeps. She was checked for a UTI and it was negative. I havent been able to figure out how to stop it from happening. We never find it on the floor and she doesnt spray. She needs an experienced adopter who does not have a problem with her leaking urine while she sleeps. It is definitely not behavioral in any way.

Story
Meet Sol, a handsome gentleman with a permanent "grumpy" face that belies his affectionate nature. Sol is the ultimate sun-seeker who spends his days napping and his nights embracing his adventurous side. He is a wonderful companion for remote workers, happily curling up on a lap for hours. When evening falls, he loves patrolling the outdoors; he is a dedicated hunter who takes great pride in keeping the premises mouse-free, often leaving "gifts" to show off his hard work. Sol has been a part of our family since 2019, but as he’s grown, he has become very territorial. While he was once close with his brother, he now requires a single-cat household to feel truly at peace. It is important to note that Sol is wonderful with people and even coexists fine with our dog—he simply needs to be the only feline king of his castle. We are looking for a home that can offer him a similar balance of indoor cuddles and safe outdoor access where he can thrive as an only pet.

Story
Lucky and Max are a pair of sweet, well‑behaved sister cats who have spent their entire lives—about 10 years—being deeply loved and cared for by my mother‑in‑law since they were kittens. They are gentle lap cats who adore snuggles, daily treats, and playing with their toys and catnip. Losing their longtime caregiver in December has left them without anyone in the family able to take them in, and it’s important to us that they find a home where they can feel safe and cherished again. Lucky and Max are looking for a loving family who will welcome them together and give them the affection, comfort, and companionship they’ve always known.

Story
Odin is roughly 4 years old. I adopted him out of a Petsmart, after he was returned twice... Due to playing to rough with other cats. I have other cats figured maybe we could work through the issues with him and things were going fine. But in the last year and half he is constantly bullying one of my smaller cats, and is stalking her constantly. We have tried all the tips and tricks and he just won't stop. It's time to let him to go so my other cat isn't living in fear constantly. He is so sweet and one of my favorite cats, I've owned. He loves laying under soft blankets, and Lazer pointers. Cannot eat pork or turkey.

These cats are in Saint Cloud, Minnesota too!

Story
I got Lucious from a coworker who lives out in payensville, MN. His mother was a barn cat and either abandoned him or he just wandered off and my coworker found him all alone. She took him in at 3 or 4 weeks and nursed him until she gave him to me at 8 weeks. He is almost 2 years old now. Lucious is one of the best cats I’ve ever met, he loves to be pet and to play and can be vocal. He sometimes tries to go up on the counters if there is food up there so just keep in mind he’s a little spunky and can be a little naughty at times atleast here. The reason I am wanting to rehome him mainly is because I am allergic. I love him dearly but I don’t enjoy feeling so stuffy and sick all the time. He is bonded with my other cat and her name is kitty baby she is a fluffy diluted Calico who is 10 months old and beautiful. I would prefer that someone takes both of them so they can stay together they are very attached. They cuddle all the time play with eachother, and groom eachother.

Story
Meet Shaggy! Shaggy arrived with a group of feline friends and would enjoy a home where he has a kitty companion. As with any new addition, slow and thoughtful introductions will help him settle in comfortably. Shaggy is a sweet, playful boy who loves attention and will happily seek you out when he’s ready for some affection. He enjoys being brushed and is used to having safe outdoor time in a catio for extra enrichment and stimulation. He should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help him maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Story
Meet Winter! He came to TCHS with his brother, Cupcake. Winter can be a little more shy than his brother. He would appreciate it if you went slowly with him. Unlike his brother, Winter does not like to go outside. He will happily stare out the window at the birds, though. He enjoys chasing laser toys but isn't very fond of any other "cat" toys. Winter and Cupcake have not met other cats or dogs. They have met children and did well with them in the past. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended. Ask a TCHS staff member for more information! He should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help him maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health.
