Story
Maisy is a sweet, loving cat who enjoys being loved on in a lap or being alone sleeping. She has the energy of a young cat when being played with and will chase toys but is not wild and is extremely mellow otherwise. We have 2 children and unfortunately have not been able to give her all of the love and affection that she needs and deserves. She was introduced to another cat once and did not do well. Therefore, she should be in a home with no other pets. As far as children, she has been great with ours and has not done anything malicious in any way nor shown jealousy. She is strictly an indoor cat with an easy diet of 1 can of wet food a day and dry food for her to graze. We are looking for someone that will take extremely good care of her and will give her tons of love because that’s all she really wants. She has a veterinarian where she is established. Ideally looking for someone local that we can stay in touch with and up to date with how she is doing.

Story
Daisy is an active indoor cat with a playful personality and a good balance of independence. She enjoys being around familiar people and will stay nearby once comfortable, but also values her space and is not overly clingy. I’ve had her since she was about 1–2 months old in the summer of 2016, and she has been part of our family ever since. She can be cautious at first with new people but warms up over time. She loves to play, especially with a rope toy or laser, and enjoys being pet on her terms—she will let you know when she’s had enough. She is fully litter trained and does not spray. She has been an indoor cat her entire life and would do best in a calm household. Due to young children and allergies, we are looking for a caring home. She has a simple routine one can of wet food daily, with dry food available through an automatic feeder and constant access to fresh water. She has received standard vaccinations, though records may be limited. Looking for a stable long term home

Story
Meet Charmander! Charmander is one of our Pokémon kittens, and just like his namesake, he has a confident, friendly presence with a warm, steady personality. This big boy is already tipping the scales at five pounds at just four months old! Charmander is gentle, quiet, and very sweet. He loves being pet and happily soaks up attention, including belly rubs from people he trusts. He's active but strikes a great balance between playtime and relaxation. He enjoys chasing and pouncing on hanging toys and especially loves toys that pop and bounce around, like springs and other springy toys. He also likes seeing how fast he can climb to the very top of the cat tower. When playtime winds down, this cuddle-bug is happy to relax nearby. He loves sleeping on the bed with his person at night, but is just as content curling up on the sofa with a soft blanket for a cozy nap. He enjoys companionship and closeness without being overly clingy, and is happiest simply being near his people. Charmander does very well with other cats and is great with children. He is cautious with dog and would likely do fine with a calm, cat-friendly dog when given a proper introduction. He must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with a friendly resident cat, as he thrives with feline companionship. Charmander is neutered, dewormed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. If you are looking for a gentle, sweet kitten with a sturdy presence, a playful streak, and a calm, affectionate nature, Charmander may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
This is Sebastian, he is a very quiet and very friendly cat. He was given to me at around 6 months old (he was found in the woods) and has been with me ever since. He is about 7 years old now. He is a very "peoply" cat though he will hide from anyone he doesn't know for a few hours before he comes around. It doesn't take him too long to get comfortable with someone new. He is a very affectionate cat and will paw at you for pets once he feels comfortable with you. The reason I am giving him up is that I now travel a lot for work and am away most of the time. He spends a lot of time by himself and is usually pretty lonely. I'd like to find a home for him that will return his affections equally. He has all of his shots and is fixed. No behavioral problems. He's just shy around strangers. He is an inside cat though he tries to go outside if given the chance.

Dipped in cinnamon at birth. His coat is gorgeous. This sweet cat needs a quiet home, solo, where he can get all the attention and affection. His new family needs to be savvy and patient with this shy cat to let him settle in. He loves affection! *When we state he does not get along with cats, dogs or kids we mean he is afraid of them. He has never shown any aggression* To meet him, please find our application on this site or at linktree nyctfa.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Sara Sweet and I'm a beautiful old gray and white little girl. This is my story. When my family's living situation changed, they put me outside. I joined a colony, and a kind woman took care of me and the other cats. Then, she brought me to Rescue Ridge. At first, I was nervous, but as I got to know the volunteers my true personality came out. I am sweet, affectionate, and observant. I like to watch everything that is going on.   I like to play, and I enjoy the company of other cats. Therefore, I would do best in a home with another cat as a companion. My special wish is to join a family who will give me lots of love. In return, I will be your best friend and loyal companion. I am spayed and up to date with vaccines. So, I'm all ready to be yours. If you are interested in meeting me, please go to our website at rescueridge.com and fill out an adoption application.  1 Attached ImagesVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 2:43 pm

Story

She is one of two surviving kittens from her liter, after losing three of her siblings. Her name carries deep meaning, given to honor someone who nearly died but was kept alive through prayer, love, and care. The person Caro is named after is a warrior and a survivor who is now thriving just like Caro. Like the name she was given, Caro is a little survivor whose life is already a story of hope, strength, and grace. Caro has to go home with her brother Rocky. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 27, 2026, 5:05 pm
