Story
Re-homing our 6 year old orange tabby-cat, Lincoln. We rescued Lincoln from the Lincoln Tunnel when he was only 4 weeks old. To this point he has been an amazing cat, although skiddish, never aggressive or violent. However, when it comes to younger children, mainly toddlers and infants, he has zero tolerance and just doesn’t do well with them. After many attempts at finding a happy medium whether with nail clippings/nail caps or doing our best to keep him away from the babies/vice-versa, we unfortunately had one too many clawing incidents. He will do great in any home with a loving family who has older children, and he does well with our two other cats and large dog. He is extremely lovable and outside of his discomfort and no tolerance for babies, he is a really great cat.

Story
We adopted Nori from "Friends of Linder Animal Shelter" when she was just 1 and raised her the last 6 years. What stuck out about her was her confident and loving aura. She came right up to us and played with us right away - from there - we knew we wanted her. She has always been friendly not just towards us, but to our friends and children as well. What is even more incredible, is her intelligence. We were able to teach her tricks like stand, sit, and paw (treats included). She really is a great cat. Unfortunately, at the time we adopted her, we didn't have children and we didn't know we were both allergic to cats. In fact, I recently got tested to confirm and my allergy ranks a 3/5 in severity according to doctors. Furthermore, with our growing family, it's become more and more difficult to spend time with her and truly appreciate her inquisitive nature. We are hoping to find her a kind and caring family who can really appreciate her playfulness and love.

Story
Sunny is beautiful and affectionate, she loves to snuggle. I joke with my wife she'd make a great emotional support animal. I also joke she's the best dog you ever had because she will sit and wait to be tossed a piece of chicken or sausage while we eat dinner. My wife gets the snuggles, I get to toss her treats. Win, win. She is a little over 2 years old now, and the smallest little thing, my wife calls her a "forever kitty". She is intelligent, persistent and playful. She would love puzzles, especially ones that involve getting treats. Between her, her brother and daughter, she was the only one to use her paw to get a treat out of a puzzle toy we got them. The others used their nose to roll. Sunny needs a home where she would get a lot of attention and snuggles. She loves to cuddle and she loves to play. Ideally either a home with children, or someone who has the time for her.

Story
Ella is in the need of a new home due to busy schedules. She is shy and can be timid, but once she is comfy she will become a cuddler. She eats twice a day and only had interest in dry food. She goes up and down stairs and is comfortable in bigger spaces. She is a simple and easy cat, but could use more attention than we can give her at the moment.

Story
Cleo was rescued at an SPCA around 8 years ago as a kitten. She is a very cuddly and loving cat has been since the day we met her. We call her a parrot cause her favorite place to be is on your shoulders whether you’re standing or sitting on the couch. With that being said after extending our family it’s become apparent that she really loves the one on one attention that we can no longer give her. We really want her to live her best life in a home that would make her happy. We think a place that has one other pet and older kids. A family that has more time to give her love and attention that she so deserves. We love our Cleo baby and her sweet personality. She loves to be pet on her face and scratched around her ears. Prefers to play with dangling toys or strings rather than lasers. She’s a very quiet cat rare to hear her meow but her purr is loud and vibrant. We hope she ends up in a home that loves her as much as we do.

Story
We rescued Mabel back in April 2025. She is afraid of my dog and keeps attacking the dog when she has the chance. She is also rough with my other cats. She is very sweet to my fiancé and I, loves to cuddle and play, but not well with other animals.

Story
Sabine (aka Beanie) was found on the streets of Philadelphia as a kitten, and taken in by a friend of mine before me. I have been her cat mom for six years and I love her. Beanie's favorite activities include: sleeping in curled positions, snacking on churus, climbing to the highest position possible, and snoring loudly. She loves head scratches, sitting on people's chests or laps, and purrs like a motorboat. She lets you know she's done with you pets by lightly nipping your hand or toes, but she always gives you a cue by squeaking. Beanie does not get along with other cats. We have tried to get her to bond with another adoptee of ours for two years, and she is really unhappy. This, combined with a cross country move and some major lifestyle changes means that I want to find what is best for her. For all her quirks (her weird noises, her paw taps on your face when she wants attention) I love her. I want to find her a loving home where she can be the relaxed again.

Story
Munch (aka munchos, or chos for short) is an absolute sweetheart and a total goofball. He is a big boy who likes to talk to you. He enjoys playing, running, draping his body in bizarre positions over pieces of furniture, and has a shoe fetish. (He loves to put his feet in shoes- slippers, high heels, boots, you name it!) Munch was adopted from a Philadelphia shelter and has a cat dad who raised him for about 8 years. Munch often complains about his diet, and likes to monitor his food bowl. This goofy guy is very food motivated, and eats pretty much anything, which means you have to be careful about what food you leave out. He has been known to wolf down chocolate croissants, bagels, scrambled eggs, and tuna fish. His favorite food, which we give him as a treat, is watermelon. Munch is a social creature who loves humans and cats. We are moving and have some major lifestyle changes, and want him to be in a home surrounded with love (and of course snacks).

Story
Sal has been a huge part of my life for the past 6 months. I adopted him from SAVE animal shelter when I just came to America, because I was missing my cat back home. He is a very affectionate, energetic and curious boy. He loves staying around people and following them around, inspecting everything and chasing anything that moves. He is extremely talkative sometimes, he’s funny. I recently moved in with my in laws and they have allergies and a lot of members in the family. I have to give him up for his own safety (people leaving doors unlocked) and the allergies. I wouldn’t want to give him up to the shelter and never see him again, or not know who has him. I’m happy to let anyone have him who can love him and is patient with him. He gets along with almost everyone, and other cats. I’m not sure about dogs, but we could try to see if we can do anything about it. I would like to have a little request, if his new parents allow me see him once in a while and bring him little presents.
