Story
Piper is an almost 11 year-old cat and has been a treat for all 11 years. I’ve been with her for the entirety of her life, but life changes, and kids are born. Sadly I cannot tend to her to the way she deserves and I would love to find her a home capable of that. She is a gentle, calm, and sleepy cat. She loves to sit on laps, and she really just wants to be in one’s company.

View all of our adoptabe cats and apply for Angela at https://www.lifelinecats.org/adoptable-cats Hi! I’m Angela. I did such a good job raising my 5 kittens, now I need some pampering of my own! I’m new to being around humans, but I’ve adapted really well. I always use the litter box and I know what the sound of a can opening means. I can be timid sometimes because it’s all new, but once my foster humans stop walking around I make my move. I climb up and curl up on their laps because there is really nothing I love nothing more than a good cuddle (except maybe food that comes from a can). Can I go home with you so we can cuddle?

Story
Rosie is a sweet, 11-year-old cat who was abused and abandoned before we rescued her. Her trauma made her very skittish and sensitive to chaos and stress, but once she feels safe she is very affectionate. Our home has become too busy and unpredictable for Rosie, and she’s showing signs of stress (like accidents outside the litter box). When it’s quiet and calm, she uses her box normally and is relaxed. Rosie has coexisted peacefully with our calm dog, but would likely prefer a home without dogs or with a very quiet, gentle one. She’d do best in a peaceful, child-free home with someone patient and cat-savvy, and understands that she needs a calm environment and gentle approach.

Story
Sweet San Diego loves to play. Wand toys are so fun!! He's a good boy with a heart of gold. Diego does well with the younger fosters in his current home, even helping teach them how to groom themselves, and providing happy snuggles. Diego's sister is little miss Santa Anita. Wanna chase a toy mouse around? She sure does! A quiet girl, Santa Anita is very kitty-focused and relies on her brother for comfort and confidence, so for their health and happiness this sweet pair must be adopted together. Anita and Diego are both super friendly, super sweet, super loving, and easy going with other animals. They both have especially sweet, expressive faces. They love to sleep with their foster parents and keep their foster mommy company while she reads. They love to play with toys and chase each other and wrestle happily. If it gets to rough, Anita shrieks like banshee, but then Diego calms down and all is well again. :) (Pictured, San Diego is the darker tabby and Santa Anita is the lighter torbie.) Included with the adoption are the kitties' spay/neuter, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Please note, young kitties do best with another kitty in the household. To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!

Story
Sweet Jackson climbs into his foster's lap for snuggles, happily dashes all over the house like a fuzzy maniac, then rolls around on the carpet in the hallway, eyes half closed with a happy grin on his face! His foster says he's totally talkative too, getting their attention and chatting with them in his cute, high-pitched mew.... It's so cute, they sometimes call him squeaky! Our vet estimates Jackson to be just over a year old. Included with the adoption is his neuter, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. Story
Turner is a love! He and his sister Tina had a rough start to life, and little Turner was born without his left front paw. That doesn't stop him from having a good time, though! This sweet little boy is ready to play, and would love to check out the kitty toys at YOUR house! Included with the adoption is Turner's neuter, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. Story
Say hello to Briar, a stunning black-and-white lady with the most enchanting yellow eyes you’ve ever seen. This lovely girl has a one-of-a-kind look, she was born without a tail, not even a little nub, which only adds to her unique charm! Briar is a sweetheart with people, she loves attention, gentle pets, and cozy naps by your side. She’ll happily greet you with soft purrs and enjoy being the center of your world. While Briar adores human company, she’s not a fan of other animals and would prefer to be your one and only companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate friend who will fill your home with warmth (and adorable antics), Briar is your perfect match.Cats are same day adoptions as they do not require an application process. If you'd like to meet our cats, call the shelter and we can get you scheduled in. Or come in during our kennel hours which are Mon-Fri 12pm-4pm. Or we are open Saturdays 9am-1pm. If you have any questions give us a call at 937-498-7201.
